LiquidZ 03-13-2009 07:07 PM

I think that sounds very nice.

u155282 03-13-2009 07:13 PM

of all the aftermarket exhausts so far, I think I like this one the best.

Nikon FM 03-14-2009 01:41 AM

Great sound, like the design. Would like to see more pics of this along with a Dyno comparison if available.

Thanks for posting!

Skorch 03-14-2009 02:14 AM

Very interesting... Any info on price and availability?

DannyGT 03-15-2009 07:29 PM

Although there is limited visibility, that setup looks absolutly gorgeous. I think they did a great job maintaining the ovalness of the stock exhaust except bigger to fill in the holes of the bumper.

Boost_lee 03-17-2009 01:16 AM

so far this is my favorite cat back sound clip that should be reasonably priced

Best sounding hands down.

Brazilbro 03-26-2009 11:08 PM

I am really liking this one and the greddy so far.. looking to see if the GTM one comes out too with the X pipe.. i dont know how much longer i can wait.. I want more POWER!@

john370z 03-27-2009 10:13 AM

How much?

DannyGT 03-27-2009 06:24 PM

It does sound pretty cool in those newer clips. I still think the Powerhouse Amuse sounds the best so far, but this is a close second.

dlmartin81 03-28-2009 12:57 AM

I agree...it does sound nice.....suprisingly nice.

AK370Z 03-28-2009 02:46 AM

wow, I'm surprised to see 5zigens email in my inbox today. Basically I emailed them 3 months ago asking what the dyno numbers were for this video
YouTube - Nissan 370Z Z34 on Dyno 12.10.08
[YOUTUBEHQ]NDQWK1Ny3q0[/YOUTUBEHQ]

and today they email me the result :

334ps/6800rpm w/5ZIGEN SP muffler

You're more than welcome to ask our sponsors or make a thread asking who's the authorized 5zigen distributor here among sponsors.

Brazilbro 03-28-2009 08:08 PM

334ps is what to the whp?

import111 03-28-2009 10:23 PM

I would love to see a dyno graph of stock vs 5zigen.

if im not mistaken isnt that 329hp?

It's gotta be this or Greddy for me, now i just have to handle the wait.......

msl82 03-29-2009 11:30 AM

I wonder which exhaust gives you more power, 5zigen or Stillen. It seems like the sound form these exhausts are pretty similar...

john370z 03-29-2009 01:02 PM

What is the price landed here in the US?

Asheth 03-29-2009 02:43 PM

Can someone explain this? 334ps/6800rpm w/5ZIGEN SP muffler Those are the results they emailed AK with but I am still not understanding those numbers. If you look online it says to convert PS-HP you can just use the same numbers for a estimate cause they are so close so that would mean that it is a increase of 2hp for the flywheel? Or am I missing something?

Brazilbro 03-29-2009 07:19 PM

Ya, Im in the same boat... i know it cant be to the wheels so whats the real deal?

SoCal 370Z 03-29-2009 07:50 PM

Conversion and Explanation

Skorch 03-30-2009 10:28 PM

Really liking the sound of this one. I'd like to see what the actual exhaust looks like underneath the car as well as the tentative price it'll be sold at.

hey32g 04-07-2009 09:44 PM

A price would be nice, here.......

f4ifusion 04-09-2009 07:51 PM

I really like the sound of this exhaust also. the conversion from 163,000 JPY is $1620.24 thats what i got.

Forumite 04-15-2009 05:42 AM

So far this is my favorite sounding one.

Anyone know who carries this?

Skorch 04-15-2009 11:43 AM

My concern is that this is not a true dual exhaust since the one for the 350Z wasn't and from the limited pics it looks very much like it.

Skorch 04-15-2009 01:31 PM

I just got off the phone with 5ZIGEN. They said this exhaust is due at the end of this month with an msrp of $1900. This exhaust is NOT a true dual. It has a Y-pipe that converges to a single pipe, later splitting again at the mufflers. I also asked about their dyno results but apparently their test car had a speed limiter at 180 kmph (112 mph) so their car wasn't fully tested. They did say it gained about 10 hp from the testing so far though.

I love the sound of this exhaust but from what I found out so far, it's too pricey for me and will most likely yield lesser power gains due to it not being a true dual system.

Brazilbro 04-15-2009 08:09 PM

:thumbsdown:damn, that sux.. 1900 bucks from 5z.. there usually have some of the lowest prices
i did love the sound.. guess im just waiting now for the greddy to come out to make a final choice

Well I'll cross this one off my list. I'm really starting to like the Invidia setup, good gains, looks nice and the price is very nice. I may place an order for it today once lou gets back with me.

That's what I'm going with as well. I'm ordering mine on May 1st. I just hope it sounds better in person, especially with my hfc's.

UFreefer 04-07-2010 10:33 PM

Anyone ever buy this? Sounds amazing, curious on what it's real dyno numbers would be
