Stillen air intake gen 2 vs gen 3 ??? Need help here!!

I'm going to install stillen cold air intake.
Wht is different between gen 2 and 3?

I know that Gen 3 can give more power around 17.5whp
but what about Gen2

Are their any point for me to concern?
-Engine problem?
- Is it true that engine will have shorter durable?
- Any torque gain?
-Which one is better?
- Any intake can give more gain?

I drove 220-250km/h everyday to school with my friends. Really need your opinion here. Thx for reading.

Based on the reviews and info that I have done on the forum, short ram intakes such as the Stillen G2's don't give too much power/torque due to the constant heat that the filters are exposed to in the engine bay...This is the reason why I opted to purchase the Stillen G3's...They are positioned right in the front area of the front bumper to avoid hydrolock....I have yet to type up my review as I want to upload all my pics...I can tell you that the butt dyno approves and I definately feel the gains on top of the Berk CBE/HFC combo that I already had installed...

I think there were fitment issues with the Gen2.

Might want to check out the R2C intake if short ram.

Do I have to worry about dirt getting through my engine
by G3 intake???

Or no need to worry just install G3

To summarize the original question G2 vs G3.

G2
Pro: Easier install, easier maintenance
Con: lower hp

G3
Pro: More hp, air is colder
Con: Install remove front bumper, maintenance remove front bumper to clean filter.

CBE = cat back exhaust.
