Bassani Exhaust Review
 

Hello,

Has anyone installed the Bassani Exhaust? Read that they have a X flow setup, would like to see what their results are and if they have any drone or rasp after effects.

Im still waiting for a release date, no response via email from them yet.

That makes sense now why it's not even available on their website. They do have videos up that was uploaded 2 months ago.

I called them about a month ago to get some more info on release date and the girl i spoke to took my name and phone number and said someone would call me when the had some details. I never heard anything from them since then.

Although I really like the Fast Intentions exhaust setup - I have been waiting to Hear what the Bassani cat-back exhaust system sounded like before committing. I had the Bassini V2 on my 350Z roadster - (V2 had dual walled tip upgrade - vice rolled single wall...) Not only did it look bad-a$$ installed, but Bassani has such a sweet and even, deep mellow tone on the 350Z - that literally everyone who heard it made a positive comment. I feel it's worth the wait knowing I am upgrading a 40th anniversary model. I won't mod much, but I want to mod right the first time. Below see an excerpt from the correspondence I received in reply from Blackline motorsports. (current Bassani distributor for the 350Z) just this morning - a good bunch of guys that will know all there is to know about Bassani systems hardware release once available. Thanks Mike!

Hi there a few years ago I purchased a Cat-back Bassani exhaust system from your company for an 06 Nissan 350ZR. I purchased a 40th anniversary 370Z earlier this year. Everyone who heard the exhaust system on my 350Z commented positively, and I am interested in it for the 370.

I was wondering if the Bassani exhaust system is available for the 370Z yet?

If not, when?

If available - what is the price shipped to 23188..

They've nearly finished it and are now making adjustments as there was some highway drone they weren't happy about. So they are tweaking and tuning it and should be ready for sale pretty soon. I'll keep you posted! And thanks for returning to us for your next purchase!

So there is no info released yet? I guess not even the dyno and the sound right..

i've called several times in October, they mentioned it would be out in November because they were working on the issues mentioned above. Then called in Nov., same story. Now it is January,i would suggest looking at the BERKS CBE.

Thanks to everyone for being persistent on following up on the progress of this exhaust with Bassani. From what I read they make some decent exhaust.

I'm in no rush to get an exhaust patiently waiting for reviews for Bassani, Exotic Speed, and I heard Apexi is releasing a CBE as well.

Hm...I assume more exhaust are rising....More options..OFC..we care about the price..quality.sound. and performance.....

Bump- has anyone heard from Bassani about the exhaust? Had one on my 350 and the 370z vid on youtube has got me hooked. I've emailed them a few times but haven't heard anything back.
