Just a quick question guy's

After you install the Berk HFC's. Did you notice a ticking sound coming from under the car?? I don't mean the pop corn sound at cool down. This ticking sound is at idol only.

Sounds like its between the HFC and gear box when jacking up the car.

It's only happens on one side. My drivers side or I guess it would be your passager side in the states.

My Berk HFC for my S2000 made this same sound.

Did you double check to make sure all your bolt's are tight? And that your gasket's are properly lined up? I've seen the smallest exhaust leak cause a ticking sound.

Thats the new cat cooling down. Most cars when new? make ticking noises from the exhaust when they are cooling down, nothing to be concerned about.

Trip he's saying it's at idle while running, not after the car is off and cooling down.

Yeah I'm thinking its a leak.

I'll double check the bolts between the cat and mainfold.

I did find the berk gaskets arnt much chop.

I missed that as well. I was talking about when cooling down. No issues when running.

I just went out to double check my Z with Berks and it has only the faintest little tick. However, I raised the car up previously with it running to check for leaks after the first drive after the install and could not feel even the slightest hint of a leak so who knows.
