New Cheaper Intakes?

I was skimming ebay and came a cross a set of cheap intakes for the Z! The filters are probably cheap, but they are double cone at least. It has a best offer, so one may be able to get them even cheaper!

AAM Competition will be coming out with our version of cold air intakes very shortly. Few more things to top off on the design and I will release a formal teaser LOL

Looks worse than spray painted Hot Glue :shakes head:

looks like chewed bubble gum that has been chromed

sfearl1 10-05-2012 03:57 PM

OP, please do not put those on your Z.

notice the ccv hose connections BEFORE the maf sensors ? NOT good unless you like oiled sensors followed by bad gas mileage and power loss.

Please save your money. Did you see those welds? It is awful my friend. You can get a Takeda CAI in the low to mid 400's and install yourself. It is still $100 less than a G3 and no cutting, no AC line issue.

pay to play is the name of the game. do not cheap out.
