Newby looking for intake and exhaust system

I bought a 2010 40th ann. 370z today. I want to get some bolt ons pronto. I would like an intake that provides the most power, any recommends?

As well, I want an exhaust that provides more growl and power, but I am not looking for anything loud, I dont want to attract attention. Any Recommends?

As well, with exhaust is there a system that replaces the cats with high flow that is bolt on without having to mess with sensors and ecu?

Thanx for all the help, I am pumped to join the world of Z.

There are a few choices. I would start at Stillen. They are a vendor here so you could probably get a good deal on the parts.

Or try 370ZTUNE.com also a vendor.

Search button FTW!

ocean.mirage 07-29-2010 09:52 PM

I could search button, but this is more direct to my questions and saves time, as well as being more current. Sorry if I am a bother. I just have limited time online.

Now now people we have been hurting the new guys feelings by not answering their questions that have been asked on 10 other threads. We are becoming sarky so we need to answer all repeated questions nicely.

Now OP would you please USE THE ******* SEARCH BUTTON! Thank you.

JK OP but there are a **** load of threads on this just go back and look.

I will not tell you to use the search function. I will hopefully be able to help you. We have a system available for your car. Our quietest verion would be the stainless steel version with 18" resonators. To eliminate the stock cats however keep it as quiet as possible, I am recommending our (resonated high flow cats). As far as an intake I have my own opinion on which one makes the most power but we can get you any of them. The 3 most popular are the Stillen Gen III, Ingen long tube and K&N drop in filters.

Below is a link to our exhaust thread. Please check it out and do not hesitate to call me directly if you have any questions...

I'm no accountant, but I think that equates to money.

yea, and I promise to be another satisfied customer, as I already am on the CBE

frost 07-30-2010 08:20 PM

Yes, then I will also be a satisfied customer with one of your exhaust systems. At cost seems fair, since money is not in top interests.

And I will even settle for cost instead of free on the res HFC. Make it all fair. Id like to be all FI on my exhaust.

I don't understand why some of the people on this site treats others the way they do. Don't be so Hard on the FI guy. He is making a living. As we all do. He knows if he recommends his system on here and someone hates it, he will get flamed. As well, he seems to have a lot of great feedback. So in light of that, you must be very confident in your product, which makes me interested. I have a few questions though. How much louder than stock is the system you recommend? And if I understand correctly you recommend HFC's plus resonators? You have a lot of vids on your threads. could you possible post a link to your system with a 12" res and then a link to your system with a 18" res?

ocean.mirage 07-30-2010 09:22 PM

Oh, and I was also wondering if you have had many customers catch their exhaust on bumps and damage them? I was thinking of putting a 1" lowering kit in.

I don't think you have been around enough to know a friendly ball-bustin when you see one Mr. July 2010 start date, who refuses to search.
