Aha! So the rumor is true :stirthepot: Hey Josh, they'll sell more magazines now, mebbe I'll ask for a kickback

We didn't have a hand in it, outside of being contacted by one of their editors, and shipping product. They did the installation, dyno's and tune on it.

Should be a good writeup! As soon as I confirm the issue I'll post it here, but it may be a couple months before it hits the newsstand. Magazines are at least 2-3 months from newsstand once wrapped up.

Wow, these cars run rich stock.

Looks like the AFR's weren't changed much if at all, so I'm guessing they added in a degree or two of timing to pick up the other 9 whp?

EFILogics is highly respected around here, too, Josh. Chris knows his way around the Uprev and Cobb software.

Here is another breakdown I put together. A little easier to compare than their software generates.

If this doesn't convince you to do a CBE+HFC, nothing will! +27hp +27tq

I'm guessing those numbers aren't with SAE correction (I hope that's the right term).

The baseline looks a bit high too -- regardless, that's a 12% and 15% gain in power after I/HFC/CBE and a tune, respectively, from baseline. The approximate % of gains should hold across dynos and correction factors.

Again, what I find most interesting is that the tune netted only realitivley small additional increases over the bolt-ons without a tune.

Note to anyone who springs for a tune: Get them to road tune it as well to really get your money's worth, and ensure that it feels good when you drive it (e.g., throttle response) -- it's not all about WOT.
