Nismo Z with Meisterschaft Exhaust

Found this while digging around on youtube today... I know i've read where some of you guys were interested in purchasing. I've always liked the sound of this exhaust, very aggresive. Never cared for the tips personally tho. Anyways this is the only other clip I've seen of this exhaust besides the one from the manufacturer. Enjoy

Good find. Pretty unique tone, if the vid quality isn't distorting it at all. I like it.

Damn I do love that sound... such a refined rasp IMO. And at WOT that exhaust just sounds like sex.

Too bad the Z is my wife's car. She wants quiet :(

Hey that's my car. :) The audio quality of the clip doesn't do the sound justice. The sound is much richer than what's conveyed via YouTube. The ECU also limits revving the car past 5k RPM's when in neutral so it's nowhere near redline. We did some WOT runs too and it sounds simply brilliant. If you're at heavy throttle once you move past 4-5k RPM the sound becomes this insane growl that's intensely satisfying.

Some people were concerned that the system would be too loud for regular driving. Under light to moderate throttle the setup is no louder than the original OEM Nismo exhaust. Only when you punch the gas does it become loud. Cruising on the highway at 60 even in 5th gear I can't hear the exhaust over the tire noise.

I've been meaning to start a gallery for the work done on my car. I guess it's time I got to work on it!

If you wanna rev to redline push the clutch in and put it into gear... this allows you to rev the engine to redline

Ah, thanks. I'll work on making a better vid soon. Anyone have recommendations on a proper microphone? The DSLR I have now does full HD video and has a line-in microphone port.

Very...especially since I have some Berk's sitting in the garage

I hate the exhaust choosing process on the Z! Tough decision's and just when you think you are set, someone puts up an awesome sound clip like this

Nissan 370Z Forum - daleks's Album: Meisterschaft Nismo 370Z Install

There is the install album. Right now I only have the muffler section since the Y-pipe and mid-pipe are still en route (should be soon). The tubing is bigger at the muffler section, but the flanges fit just fine for now. My understanding is the Y-pipe has a specially designed collector that also modifies the sound. We'll see!

Sounds good, I do like that pipe though

Paskii 07-10-2010 07:48 AM

That sounds awesome. Did you have a chance to dyno the car yet? Wondering what the results are.

Any unpleasant raspy sound?

Nubz 07-10-2010 07:57 PM

Where did you order this from and what did you pay? And is this a cat back system? I love the sound of this exhaust.
