will the type 1 actually be louder Db wise than the type 2? I like the look of the type 1 better than the type 2. A video of the type 1, done like the one for the type 2, would be greatly appreciated!

+1 with the Type 1

Test done today with the Type 1.

Okay.. And?

In for pictures and video, I am still hankering for an Ark system. :)

Did this ever go into production? It's not on the ARK website. The GRIP is the only exhaust showing up for the 370Z on the site.
|
On monday we will do our final test and it will go into production. You guys will be very pleased with the tone that it produces

Too bad I already bought the GRIP. Getting it installed saturday. I was sold on the performance and the lack of any drone thanks to the dual canister design. For the GRIP, is that dyno on the ARK website just from the exhaust alone? Or did that test car have other mods? It made 302 whp

For those wondering, that is the final prototype. Official specs and details will be coming in 2 weeks. After those two week pass and ALL the inquired information is answered, we will be THE FIRST to start the pre-order.
|
... And for one of the big concerns- the Type 1 model will feature the same clearance as the OEM exhaust. There will be no scraping or problems brought by portions of the exhaust being "too low".
