Cobb Post MAP Tubes
Hey, SORRY.., going to sound like a lamo' here.
The Cobb tubes, is the price ($125) for a pair (two) or one (each)? Is Cobb not making any more of these tubes (not even the blue)? I ask because Cobb has not responded to my question, maybe it's a real stupid question:barf: Before I call them, perhaps someone can provide 411? ok... I mean "MAF" Tubes... Thanks. |
Price is for two, you can still get the post MAF tubes in BLUE.
If anyone on here wants a set of airboxes to chop up LMK, I am back in Texas on the 3rd Nov, little way off, but can not help that ;-) just sitting in my garage with no plan to redo the intakes. |
kastley you sold the intakes to me and they are still running strong in this florida weather LOL

If you mean just the post MAF tubes, I'd be a bit skeptical too... |

jordo- are you going to try these post MAF tubes with your stock box and K&N drop-ins?
|
Just ordered the silicone intake hose from Corsport. I already have the K&N drop ins. Let's see, the K&N's give me about 6hp and the hose will give me another 6..... That's the way it works, doesn't it.:rofl2:
I will post some pictures when I get them installed. Actually I am doing this mainly for appearance. I think that the accordian hose looks pretty cheesy. If I get a few horses from it that will be great. AZ |

i think the biggest difference you will feel is when you're just shy of the torque band and you punch the gas. where stock would bog i think you'll feel a more responsive pickup.
this is just speculation...but usually that's where the benefit is for shortrams with larger tubes imo. and they do look hells better than stock. :D |
