Best Headers-HFC combo?

Hi folks, I used the "search" button without great results...

In your opinion, which is the better headers/HFC solution for power gains?

IMHO Berk's is the better choice for cats:gives very impressive gains, sound and remove some weight.

But headers... i've absolutely no idea on power gains/ quality of them. Stillen, Central 20, Fujitsubo, etc, etc, For me they are all the same... Which would you buy and why? (especially in relation with cats).

Sorry for english mistakes.

if you don't have to worry about emissions, defintiely the fast intentions long-tube headers.

regarding headers in combination with cats, I think the only one we have any real experience with on the forum is Stillen, and nobody was blown away with them if I recall.

I'd prefer to put on HFC for emissions and because test pipes are too loud. Infact i'm planing to mix Berk HFC with Fast Int. CBE without resonators: imho it is the best configuration and has the better quality/price relashion. This is why i'm asking you about headers. And, for what a read, you prefer Stillen.

^Don't get Stillen headers. Hardly any gains...

Berk HFC, stock headers.

if you think test pipes are too loud, you may reconsider adding resonators to your FI CBE. 12" resonators are still pretty loud with HFC's.

From what I can tell, the long-tubes aren't a ton louder than header/hfc combo's. You may want to check a few youtube videos to help decide tone.

But if you don't want long-tubes, I agree with dreamer. Berk HFC's and stock headers...aftermarket shorties aren't worth the money and headache.

mmm..this is a shame.:shakes head:

Headers in general don't really do much on the 370z. I didnt particularly think the sound from the FI headers is any different than without it either. If anything its raspier since you are removing the cats. If I were you I'd put that money somewhere else...like the rest of the exhaust or an intake.

there's nothing bad about the fact that OEM 370z headers already work well. why waste money on something that already performs well.

Well... the final result, from what i understood is:

1) It's better take F.I. long tube headers than short headers and HFC

2) If i decide for HFC, stock headers are the best solution.

looks about right to me

1) The difference between the FI longtube and the Stillen headers is probably not noticeable with regards to power. Its like 5hp.

2) Not best, but it makes most sense financially considering the little difference headers make...I'm pretty sure I lost torque with my headers, however all that changes if you ever decide to get forced induction.
