Just wanted to put this up real quick, installed on Mothra 3 days ago.

Is it necessary???? No. Does it look awesome, absolutely!!!!!

Thoughts, hate, love, comments, or questions???

We both got the Strut Bars, but they need to be refitted to the car, so it will be a little time before they are up and "Display Worthy". The Tower brace John has is AWESOME though, I'm sure he will have pictures up shortly. For those that don't need the harness points like on our Powerhouse Bar, its a much better option.

On an iPad and in a hurry. Cool for movies and games, not so much for messing around on a forum. Sorry for the annoyance though.

I like 'em...just can't even begin to justify the price!

especially since the CF covers are just cut off and not even taylored to the shape of the location they are in. Just bling bling IMO.

No question that its excessive, I'll agree with you on the "bling bling", but it sure does look sweet.....

I love the look. All business and ready to kick ***. Very nice. So many questions, though --

Would mimicking the shape of the factory boxes make them more effective, do you think? Do you have any idea if this is better or worse, performance-wise, than the regular Top Secret intake? What are the white lines I see there? And speaking of the price, any idea of retail cost or availability?

JvKintheUSA 06-02-2010 08:17 AM

What's up with all those hoses?

Valentino 06-02-2010 08:03 PM

Ya what are all those white hoses? and those extra can's for?

Da.Menace 06-02-2010 08:16 PM

The hoses funnel hopes and dreams into the motor. Good for about 650whp.

Seriously though, I have no clue.

Valentino 06-02-2010 08:56 PM

^ :rofl2:

craniac24 06-02-2010 08:59 PM

Can't you see? Those hoses obviously draw the air from the intake into those 3rd generation teflon coated turbonators... :p

BalanBro 06-02-2010 09:31 PM

Oil catch can for PCV?

Chriz 06-02-2010 11:00 PM

Saw these the other day at the dub show, looks great in person and in pic. Thanks again for the free tickets Baker Nissan:tup:

Togo 06-03-2010 05:53 PM

I too would love to know more info about the "hopes and dreams" (:bowrofl:) tubes and cans.

Thats the meth they are injecting to get that supposed extra power.

And why are the hoses soo cheap looking when the damn thing costs an arm and leg?

They'll look even better once the engine has been run a bit and gunked up with oil residue :stirthepot:

Can anyone at TS give a explaination for this setup as it looks a little odd? Looks like it has a can on the drivers side and passenger side, which you may expect, but I dont get why they are linked?

Jordo! 06-05-2010 05:39 AM

Breathers and oil catch, looks like. Those hoses might collapse tho'...

Intakes and heat shields are very purdy

SkyDancer 06-05-2010 05:57 AM

The covers kinda remind me of lamp shades!

370Zeee 06-16-2010 11:42 AM

The covers remind me of heaven. Niiiiiice.

Liquid_G 06-16-2010 01:22 PM

Not a fan... sorry.. looks kinda tacky..

Exclusive Top Secret Titanium Oil Catch Can
Blowby gasses can greatly decrease engine efficiency and even cause detonation (pinging). An oil catch tank traps oil and/or carbon vapor in your car and prevents them from going back into your engine to be burnt or build up as sludge. Can be adapted to work with virtually any vehicle.

Valentino 06-28-2010 05:59 PM

Interesting...

Thank you for your answer.

The hoses appear to be partly transparent because you can see the catch can fittings inside the tube on the ends. These are bound to get all grimey on the insides unless nothing is actually flowing thru them.

Can you explain the hose setup? I can see a can on either bank, which would make sense, but the one on the passenger side doesnt seem to go back to the passenger intake, rather links to the drivers side one which then does then go into the intake. Is it like that because of space issues? Seems a little odd that each repective side doesnt go back to its own intake, or that you dont just have one can which both sides hook up to.

BLUESLATE 06-29-2010 03:01 AM

Baller catch can!!

I have the ARC one for the Z33HR on my V36 sedan.
I kinda like the intake tubes and CF heat shields(?)..., but I'd rather get the ARC Savra tubes and air boxes.
