best exhaust for slammed cars

So did some searching and never saw an official thread on it.. just a couple blurbs here and there in some threads..

Lets say I wanted to slam the hell out of my car.. hypothetically...

I currently have the FI exhaust with CF mufflers, and can't really lower the car as much as I'd like to.. We all know even though FI the exhaust sounds awesome... the size of the cans and the clearance of them is an issue if you are lowered.

So.. what are some other options.. I'd like to get your opinions on what exhaust offers the best clearance for lowered cars...

Stock exhaust is not really an option.. :)

Anything with stacked muffler design, like Berk or Stillen will be best for a slammed car. I am sure there are others but do not remember them off the top of my head.

invidia, stillen, MXP, berk

yes...most likely those that look like the oem exhaust..
Amuse,..if I could afford it..

I got the FI system now, and it sounds AWESOME!!
I just had to raise my suspension 1/2" higher from slammed and Im ok with my driveway....around town was fine tho....depends what your needs are..

Stillen easy, not just saying that because i own one, but the muffler sits slightly higher up than the stock one did, i've gone over some mean speed bumps and never had an issue once. Not to mention you'd keep your same level of performance and get an amazing exhaust note. Berk clearance is about the same, but looks like those bad boys might not even be ready until mid-late summer, early fall. Oh, and thats for people already on the waiting list.

Oh Gene... what are you thinking of now? lol

Mr. Liquid G, are you gonna slam it like tanya's? i hate you:eekdance:

my agency power sits higher than stock im pretty sure thats if you want aggressive sound

I would say Invidia or Berk. They both sound great, are lighter than stock, gain good power, and have the clearance of a stock muffler

I don't even know what slamming a car means. Does it involve Vin Diesel?

fairladyZ34 05-12-2010 12:34 PM

Nah, more like one bad family movie at a time.
