Air Intake Long Pipes

I live in Chicago and with the amount of rain (and sometimes snow), I'm concerned with an air intake that runs closer to the ground like the Stillen g3. Should I be concerned?

Stillen Gen 3 is actually no closer to the ground than stock, it just relocates your filters to the front of the radiator. Texas (specifically Houston) gets very bad rain and I have had zero issues with my Still Gen 3 when driving in the rain, other than traction sucks.

I didn't think the Base model came with a Submarine Mode, thought that was just the Touring?

Did you pay extra for that?
