Exotic Speed exhaust

I was searching for an exhaust for my buddies g35 and came across a company called exotic speed and noticed they make a catback for the 370z thought you guys should take a look, I found no information about this exhaust on the z forums. I already have the FI catback and have no intention of switching over but i thought id post this up for everyone to see as another exhaust option. Has anyone ever heard of this? they didnt post any kind of performance numbers on the website.

Exoticspeed RII-Titan Exhaust - Nissan 370Z 2009-10 (Coupe)
[10021001] USD $1,495.95
MSRP $1495.95
The EXOTICSPEED RII-titan and RII-Carbon Series are designed and revolution from the R1 Series, that provide you a pure sports and extreme quality racing sound that everyone is desired as well as quiet and deep sports tone.Constructed of polished SUS304 Stainless Steel (on exhaust piping) and combination with titanium (for RII-Titan Series) or 100% Carbon fiber (for RII-Carbon) Material on resonator , exhaust body and tips, The EXOTICSPEED RII was designed for enthusiasts seeking the highest quality performance exhaust system with only a slight increase in exhaust noise. The Systems are designed to reduce backpressure and increase exhaust flow for greater peak power and a broader torque band. Each RII-Titan and RII-Carbon application utilizes a specific muffler design and shape along with the appropriate piping diameter to maintain low-end torque while maximizing high-end horsepower.
I'm not butthurt or anything, but dear god if that's not a blatant ripoff of the Amuse R1-Titan series moniker, I don't know what is.

It's basically a blend of SS and Titanium to make a cheaper version of the JDM stuff.

Oh, never mind, it's a "true dual" as well...mmph, I dunno. O_o;

Yea its pretty much a copy of the amuse exhaust it looks like. but will you get decent performance from a true dual exhaust like that with no h or x pipe?

RCZ 04-01-2010 03:08 PM

looks pretty good. wondering what it sounds like too.

Zsteve 04-01-2010 03:24 PM

its performance will be on par with the others that are less money.

XwChriswX 04-01-2010 03:31 PM

I wouldn't waste my money on it... Sounds like a knock off, not to mention, the tips aren't even even. :ugh2:

Description on their site implies that it's relatively quiet. From the similarly designed exhausts, I would have expected it to be on the louder side.

the 350 version sounds pretty good :eekdance:

Some of these systems are ment for the asian and european market, and are primarily sold their. Unless someone once to become a distributor then its probally not worth it.

DMoney 04-15-2010 04:56 PM

Whats up guys, just wanted to come on here and share a little info on this exhaust. We are one of the only US distributors of Exotic Speed (Assaultech) They are a smaller Canadian company who builds a great quality product. Here are some questions answered for you guys.

It does sound amazing. We just got some awesome sound clips off a 350Z customer. Check out YouTube for clips with a White 350Z, I am assuming I can't link to My350Z on here

Not the case at all, their biggest market is Canada, however we do sell a good bit of their product in Europe as well. Don't think they sell in Asia at all.

Right now, the first one they came out with was only the PWR Si version, which is what is pictured. The pictures are more of their first few. They have been sent back for some minor changes and will be back around the end of this month. The newer non Si version will be louder and more aggressive sounding. The Si version is usually released but in limited numbers for the first few months the exhaust is released. It just has a different type of baffle in the muffler than the PWR version.

Like I said above, this was the test fit model. I promise all their models coming up have anything like that fixed. It is somewhat of a "knock-off" but of a $4000 exhaust. So at almost 1/4 the price I would say its pretty good. And for anyone who has ever actually heard a full Ti exhaust by Amuse, it sounds quite different. I honestly don't like the sound, sounds too tinny in my opinion. The mufflers and resonators are a SS / Ti alloy. The tips are full Titanium.

It is on par with all other dual exhausts (ie HKS)

Once the true PWR version is released (end of the month) we will be able to hear some more true sound clips of this exhaust. We already have a few sold and the customers will be doing a write up, sound clips and pictures.

We have sold about 15+ of these for the G35/350Z and haven't had an unhappy customer yet. These exhausts are VERY high quality and sound incredible.

This is a true dual with H Pipe included.

Check out some more sound clips of the single 3" version R1-T on the 350Z. Similar sound and mufflers.

YouTube - ppwpz33's Channel

Also, here are some higher quality pics of the R1-T on a 350Z.

Dont mind all the finger prints haha

As I said before, once the RII-Titan PWR is released we will have better pics and videos. But for now what we have is information more than anything. When this next batch is available at the end of the month they will also be offering different tip options such as full polished, roll tips, straight tips or angled tips.

Hope the info helps you guys out and sheds a little light on the Exotic Speed Exhaust
