370Z Exhaust Sound Clip data base

I thought it would be a good Idea to have a thread with just video and or sound clips of all the aftermarket exhaust that are coming out for the 370Z.
Please post, all that you find, it will be easier to make a decision and compare the different exhaust tones. I personally was looking to get the NISMO exhaust installed this weekend, but I haven't been able to find any sound clips, the only thing I can go off of is what the 350z Nismo sounds like, I think it will be similar.

nice cant wait to hear it... are you planning on sticking with that exhaust or is that just a temporary set up?

Yeah, me too! I'll stick with it for awhile, but I'm planning on going Twin Turbo sometime in the near future once I see a few installs, so I may end up changing it later.

I couldn't stand the sound of the stock exhaust anymore, so I needed something to get my fix

very understandable... are you planning on going with GTMs TT kit?

Possibly, but I have another source through a friend in Japan that wants to get into the car business, I may just end up developing one myself. This guy use to work for Nissan as an engineer and now he runs his fathers import/export machinery company in Japan. My wifes company has an exclusive deal with them, so this is how I know him. I talked to him briefly in Las Vegas about some of my ideas and he seamed really interested in starting some sort of venture in the aftermarket car business. Anyway, this is probably a long ways off, so I don't want to get into any details just yet because it may not even transpire.
He comes out next month from Japan, I'll have a chance to chat with him more about it. ;)

Ok, it's installed  took roughly 1.5 hours at the dealership.

I couldn't find my video camera battery, I will look again tomorrow and hopefully get a sound clip up.

My review:

1. Fit and finish is perfect
2. Sound (A bit disappointing) if your looking for an aggressive sound, this is NOT the exhaust for you. It has a slightly lower tone at Idle and a minimal bump in volume up through the gears, above 5K RPM it is noticeable, but not extreme in anyway. I would say that if I gave a friend a ride in my car, that had been in it previously, they would not notice the difference. :-(
This would be a good exhaust for someone who is looking for a slight bump in sound from stock. Probably similar to the HKS Legamax
3. HP Gain: It's hard to say, I want to say that it made a difference, but honestly can't say that it is really noticeable, it feels a little more responsive, but I doubt that any one would be able to feel a 10-12hp increase on a car that already has 332hp. Maybe on a lower hp car.
I believe that it weighs about 10-12lbs less (no confirmation yet) and it is all stainless steel, so that is a plus.

Now, it is brand new, so maybe the sound will get louder after a few miles, once the packing starts to break in or burn off, whatever it does

I'm curious to any 350z owners thoughts on this, did your overall tone or volume increase after a few thousand miles??

My next mod will most likely be an intake and some hi-flow cats/ test pipes, I'm sure this will change the tone significantly.
I'll post some sound clips as soon as I can

Nismo exhaust clip

Ok, here is video as promised, this was before I put some miles on it, like I said in previous post, the tone seams to have gotten deeper. I'll post up a fly by later on. Don't laugh at me running to the car, my battery was flashing on the camera and I didin't know where the charger was, so I had to hurry. :rofl2:
