Fast Intentions hfc’s
Anyone know of any vendors offering deals on the FI Resonated hfc’s? Or are these available only through Fast Intentions?

There are vendors that sell Fast Intentions parts but they don't have them in stock. You should order from Fast Intentions itself to receive the parts earlier.

Unsure, probably not...especially after Black Friday.
Great Mod for Z, power & helps engine breathe better  |
There are a couple sets of FI Resonated HFCs currently for sale on myg37.com
Take a look there for a little discount and possibly quicker turnaround time on shipping. |
Has anyone come up with a support bracket for them like OE?

Installed!
Finally got the FI HFC's delivered and installed. Coupled with the HKS catback, the exhaust sound is music to the ears.
2 issues though: 1. I'm getting the burnt rubber mixed with gunpowder smell. I think it'll go away after time. 2. I got an immediate SES light. I have no doubt it isn't the cats. I'm thinking the shop may have damaged an 02 sensor or something. Gonna take it to another shop to give the install a once over for exhaust leaks and scan the codes. Ed Update: Turns out it's one of the upstream 02 sensors. Shop wanted $520 to replace it. $435 just for the 02 sensor. (cough). ordered the denso 02 sensor from amazon for $125. |
These are the codes.

Help? Lol
P0051 P0037 P1168 All 4 02 Sensors? Weirdness. When the HFC’s were installed only the post 02’s were removed. |
I installed used FI RHFC about a month ago, zero codes. Wound up cutting the OE cat brackets off and welding to the O2 tubes which then bolted right up to the OE lateral bracket. No stress that I can see which will break the O2 tubes.
My frakenstein exhaust sounds great haha  I didn't realize the full effect until installing a larger than OE Y-pipe though. |
Get long tube headers :woot:

Finally
Ended up replacing all the 02 sensors. Last one to be replaced was the Bank 2 upstream yesterday. SES light is now out!
When they say to NOT use power tools/impact drills when working on the exhaust around the cats and 02 sensors, this is the reason. Ed |
