I think it could use at least 6 or 8 more slip joints for $1600. Practically the entire exhaust it held together with band clamps...

I saw tons and tons of Camaro guys use the Magnaflow on their F-bodies. I had Flowmaster. I loved it. For Fbody guys, it was basically Flowmaster < Magnaflow < Borla. But as for import application, ugh.. I don't know. I may have to hold comments until I hear it. :ugh2:

Too many choices once it hits that price I think.

There was a Canadian who had a Magna-Flow exhaust installed last summer on his 370. I don't remember the name of the person, but he's on this forum (somewhere).

Magnaflow use 409 Stainless, which is two grade lower compare to 304

Yea, I suspected this as well. I had a magnaflow catback on my accord for about 6 years, and the piping is covered in surface rust. It does not yet appear to be structural, but over time it may become so. Maybe I should try a magnet test, as I think 409 is magnetic while 300 series is not.

I don't think it sucks but I'm not paying that price, Magnaflow caters for American Muscle. However I had a Full Catback Exhaust Magnaflow in my 350Z and it was great. I also got it for less than half of the price from thier website and is was brand new.

So I'll be in the look out! ;)

This is a pretty old thread, but I just got a used, 2010 370z Roadster and among the many upgrades on it was this Magnaflow exhaust. The dealer didn't even know this exhaust was on it (as with many of the $7k in upgrades the previous owner put on this car), so I didn't really pay anything for it, but I have to say that the sound is amazing. Especially in a roadster, there is a visceral growl there bellowing out on a whole other level from the factory exhaust that magnifies the entire driving experience in this car. I haven't seen the performance benefits (if any) documented anywhere, but honestly, I don't even care if there are any with how great this thing sounds. I'll see how it holds up and let you guys know, but I'm in CA anyway, so at least rust isn't an issue. The funny thing is, their corporate headquarters are right here in the city where I live, so if anything goes awry with it, I'll just swing it by.

I know this is a old thread but I thought I would share my expearence with Magnaflow, true the piping is 409 ss but the Muffler, res. & tips are 304 ss fit and finish is great, the guy that installed it for me was so impressed with the system hes posting pictures of it on his company FB page. (I'll try to get some sound clips soon) Sound is much deeper than stock and @ wot sounds V-8 like. For $855.00 shipped to my door it was a great deal !

I’ve the two Magnaflow Street mufflers custom axleback with stock resonators and cats that are very sporty European performance sounding. No drone buzzing or raspy for a fraction of these bolt on kits.
