What A Difference!

I had the following parts installed on my NISMO and the results are amazing:

- UpRev Tune
- Z1 Motorsports VQ Performance Headers
- Motordyne Advanced Resonance Tuning (ART) Test Pipes
- AAM Competition Sports Tail Section modified w/Dual Borla HF Mufflers

- Z1 VQ37 Intake Plenum Power Mod
- Z1 Motorsports Ported Lower Intake Manifold
- JWT 370Z Dual Pop Intake
- Z1 Silicone Post-MAF Intake Hoses

- RS-R 370Z Down Sus Lowering Springs (1" drop)
- CNC Aluminum Bolt-On Wheel Spacers (15mm & 20MM)

The suspension and chassis modifications made by NISMO make the handling a dream, so the only modifications necessary was to drop it (slightly) and to space the stock rims out a tad. The RS-R springs were great; they didn't make the suspension stiffer as it is already stiff.

The intake and exhaust mods, along with the UpRev tune, really make a huge difference. It's plenty fast (for now), yet it's still comfortable for long rides. The guys at Z1 did an amazing job on advising me on the right parts.

Did they dyno the thing after tuning?

I'd be interested in hearing your exhaust setup

Id like to see a pic of the axle back exhaust as well as a sound clip.

No, I opted for a mail-in tune with Z1. I found a guy with rave reviews in the area, so that's next on the list.

Cool. I'll do a video and post it.

SG4247 12-27-2018 01:48 PM

Cool looking forward to it!

Was this exhaust something you purchased from Z1?

Any updates on the vid?
Also, I thought the Z1 flanges don’t bolt up to the ART test pipes?
I have art test pipes so if Z1 headers will fit, I’d be greatly interested in that..

You need 350Z DE flanges that bolt up to the Z1 headers..you have VHR flanges..so you either by DE flanges and have them welded in place of the VHR or you buy 350z DE art pipes..
