Stillen intake issues
Just installed my Stillen gen3 long tube intake. But every once in a while when I start my car it puts my car into limp mode. There’s no check engine and no other lights. Just limp mode. I have no power through first and second and feels like it’s gonna stall out. But once I turn it off and restart it I have no issues. Any help. I have a 2014 370z

Buy/borrow/rent an OBD code reader and see if any DTCs have been thrown.

Or go to Autozone. They'll even give you a print out, with some (VERY) basic tips on what MIGHT be causing the problem (they're of course doing this to try to sell you things to fix the problem). But it's still very handy.

Also I'm curious about what you are seeing that makes you say it's an issue with the intake? Is it the timing of when this started happening?

My Gen3 had a left over filler manufacturing piece in there that typically isn't supposed to be in there — a rubber piece that is the same diameter of the tube.
My car was running for like 2 minutes and then shut down. Great because if that piece made it through the throttle body... |

Check your connections on the MAF's.
|
Clean your intakes out the box they could be dirty from production in the inside.

Quick question regarding G3’s - I already have test pipes, CBE and a tune. Would I be okay to add these without immediately getting retuned?
