High flow cats to test pipes

I'm thinking about buying some used HFC and hollow them out to make them in to test pipes, any possible issues with that? obviously i'd be tuned to fix codes.

At that point why not buy Berk or Z1 test pipes? Generally, the cheaper alternative.

The AAM Competition test pipes would be my first choice as far as quality go’s if you are switching over to test pipes from HFC’s.

AAM is never the first choice for anything if you're into quality. They make poorly fitting garbage these days. You would be right, if it was still 2011.

To each their own I have had a excellent experience dealing with AAM Competition. The quality of the metal used on the AAM Competition exhaust products always was excellent quality in my opinion and the AAM Competition exhaust always fit like a glove like it was meant for the Z. The customer service I always received from AAM Competition was top notch.

Then either you’re one of the lucky ones or you don’t know what you’re looking at.

I'm guessing it's been awhile since you dealt with them. Their customer service is basically non-existent now. And the quality and fitment of parts seems to be going downhill as well. Stay away from AAM :eekdance:
