What are your thoughts about the Greddy Evolution GT Exhaust?

Hey guys,

I saw several videos showing this exhaust and it sounds great. Has anyone had any experience with it? Is there a drone? Fitment issues?

Well it will depend on what exhaust you pair the Greddy Evolution GT exhaust with really. I know two people that installed the Greddy Evolution GT exhaust with AAM HFC’s and there was no drone from the exhaust note. I have heard several different combos with the Greddy Evolution GT exhaust and they all sound great if you ask me and none had drone more of a deep throaty sound. Most importantly the Greddy Evolution GT exhaust has excellent fitment from what I have seen and is compatible with other exhaust brands. I really liked the quality of the Greddy Evolution GT exhaust top notch very nice.

Did you hear any rasp or hiss in the combos you listened to?

Have you heard a motordyne in person and could you provide some comparison details between the greddy and motordyne?

I’m very interested in hearing detailed opinions and any sounds clips if possible! Very curious to know how it sounds compared to motordyne if you have heard one of those in person

Hey it's Jon! His is pretty loud.

Its ultra loud on my setup. Fit is nice. Exhaust sound smooths out after 3000rpm

GrayGhost 10-24-2018 12:27 PM

@ZSerg, how much more do you prefer the motordyne; enough to pay the extra couple hundred dollars?

@beauz, any rasp/hiss? Do you happen to have any sound clips?

Thanks!

Compared to the HKS HiPower its way louder, drone and hiss but really nice WOT after 3000rpm. its 99DB on the hwy... #racecarlife..

keep in mind this is bolted up too PPE long tube headers. i would run test pipes with the whale penis resonator if i didnt have headers.. Cold start sets off car alarms in my building.. oops..

I was just about to make a post on this exhaust. I wish there were more sound clips available. Many of the YouTube clips for this exhaust seem to be filmed with not the best of cameras. I don't want to go test pipes; either stock or hfc. To the few that do have this exhaust... Any regrets?

They claim 16whp gain but I haven't been able to find a dynosheet... Does anyone have one? My choice is coming down to either this or Invidia.

My original question: are the tips adjustable/removable?

Coming from an Invidia owner perspective, go for the Evo GT. Nothing wrong with the Invidia, it fits well and sounds good (paired with test pipes it’s still a fine noise level for a DD) but is one one the more restrictive exhausts so you’ll get more power with the Greddy.

Awesome you are exactly the person I want to hear from. The greddy gives more power which is great, but what did you think of the sound comparison given you've had both? Did you move to the greddy for sound or performance? Or both?

Did you run them with test pipes/stock cats/ hfc?
