I heard that it has an awful drone :(. Is that true?

I have a small drone with my set up. Nothing loud.

Depends on your resonators/cats. With OEM cats and unresonated pipes, the FI was pretty drone free and fairly quiet. There was a little bit around 2200 rpms, but above and below that point, it was quite tame.

Once I upgraded to long tube headers, the drone got much worse (2200-2800 rpms), and I swapped in resonated 12" midpipes which tamed it back down again.

With 18" resonated mid pipes, even with long tube headers I think the system would actually be too quiet for me. But a lot depends on your tolerance for that particular sound frequency. You can always put down dynamat if it's too loud.

Like my FI carbon with 18in resonators and
Motordyne art pipes. Also like motordyne full cat back.

I have the SS w/ 18 resonators, the drone is not even an issue.

Taters and bananas up the tail pipe will eliminate the drone too. Along with getting your azz thrown in jail if the cops ever figure who did to their police car.
