O2 sensor belongs there?

Happened to me once to in my 350z. Cheap test pipes or trash welds. It's a good way to thrash an O2 sensor. Just have a Bung rewelded on. $30 fix it's a shame aam used to make really quality stuff. I was told that they are going downhill fast by a reputable shop.

AAM? Lol not sure what you mean. I do want to add the pipes that broke on me were Megan **** pipes. Sometimes I see guys breaking them running those 02 sensor spacers too.

Seems like AAM is taking the money and running. Their parts and service has been going down hill lately, and it picking up speed. Looks like they are taking the same path as GTM. :(

I wanted to say that but wasn't sure about casting shade since I don't remember if they are a sponsor.😁 A weird thing I do is look at job postings for some of the companies near me like them. Its a dream, anyways...they have been hiring fabricators forever....pretty safe to say theses new hires I'd assume aren't jumping into building the turbo kits.....they don't make alot of products sooo I'd throw them on the easy bend test pipes assembly line too.....but yes a r35/z tuner I went to in the beginning of my z build ranted and raved about them....last year it's safe to say there wasn't a single aam remaining on his car. He didn't want to bash he just gave me a very strong warning. It's a shame if they are walking down the gtm road....

This just happened to my long tube headers. I pulled them off had an exhaust shop weld it up and put them back on. It was a quick $40 fix.

I was thinking since one of the welds cracked and decided to go bye bye, the other side will go as well soon. So I just ordered another set. I do have to state that I'm running a backfire tune on the car which makes the car pop/bang and shoot flames at times when I'm feeling to cook some rice.

Naw you're good you don't have to say anything about a tune. Yeah, you could have saved some money. Fix the ones you have and sell the ones you just bought. Even $30 cheaper a forum member would eat it up. Lose the $60 between fixing the test pipes. (I'd reweld both, those 02 spacers are heavy) and selling at a discount and save yourself the install. Just a thought. I'd even throw a thicker weld on the newer ones....or you'll see the same situation in a year w that spacer.
