Here is a question for all of the local Dallas people... What's the plan on passing TX inspection with the FI LTH installed? Will you have to rip these out and put HFC back on every year for the inspection?

You should be fine as long as you dont throw a check engine light. I'm unaware of anywhere in texas where they do tailpipe emissions testing on newer vehicles, but i think its on a county by county basis. I plan to try with the LTH (and pick a good place to do it at), and if I ABSOLULTELY have to im keeping my stock cats and headers just in case.
edit: the car is going to noticebly smell like fuel regardless, so whoever is doing the inspection should prob not be an *******! |
Yep, it is county by count, but Texas usually just does a OBD-II check (plug and check for codes) and then basic visual inspection (headlights, taillights, etc.).

measuring CO2 and checking the normal rate. putting it on a lift and look around underneath it. which will end up them going lulwhut? at the LTH |

If I get failed I know at least 1 person in the 3 major counties I deal with that can pass my car
