Tony, I assume you are going to include instructions for the LTH but my friend who does the installs was wondering if you would include best approach for things. For example, you need to unbolt X through Z bolts, but no mention of going from under the car or from top down.

Thanks. :)

You have a smart friend .

Well this weekend we were doing an oil change and were talking about the LTH header install and he start pocking around seeing what it all looked like. It is tight in there, compared to say the Mustang he has.

Isn't the driver's side the side that's a real PITA to get to? I thought I read in a DIY that the passenger side isn't nearly as bad

Not 100% sure as I was up town looking down while he was under doing the oil change and looking around.

Well, if it nixes the long tubes and the CAI, I'll probably just stick to NA for the time being.

What about superchargers? Are they the same way?

With a supercharger, you'd be able to run long tubes, yes. However, you are in the same boat with the CAI. The Stillen SC and the GTM SC have their own CAI and don't use the Gen3s in anyway. However you could always sell the Gen3.

Oh and the exhaust would be ideal for the SC setup. 2.5" FTW!

Of course, the instructions will be step by start from start to finish. Not like some other companies that leave holes in the instructions and expect everyone to be a mind reader!

Hey, Tony. Would the TT be incompatible with either your exhaust or long tube headers or stillen's CAI?

The TT kit WILL NOT work with the long tube headers however it will bolt up to our exhaust system. If you think the headers are trick, wait until you see what we do with the down pipes for the TT kit.

First things first though, let's get the headers into the full swing of production and then get to the TT kit soon!

It is like eating an apple on bite at a time. I like doing this kind of thing in steps. It's is less to go wrong, less DELAYS and a smoother process all the way through...

Tony

Excellent, will let him know.
Also, doing the install (just headers) should take about how long, rough estimate?

Yep, I'm stoked for the headers. It's probably best for my wallet to just stick to NA.

lol lol... I can't believe your actually going to do one... Why are all the performance parts that I want in California... Can one of these damn companies move to Indiana! lol

Here's what I don't get though, California seems to be the city where it's "happening" when it comes to the car scene however, it's the state that's the most strict when it comes to modding.. what gives?

In the 90s (late 90s maybe), when the car scene really started to hit a stride with the younger crowd a lot of companies were founded in Cali. For many reasons:
~Young money was moving to Cali
~Laws were much much looser back then
~A lot of experience was there from older cars who were helping the younger generation

It sort of fell that way, and it is not like companies can just up and move to another state easily, plus with 90% of what they sell from these companies as "off road use only" they are not liable in anyway so if someone in Cali has their part they chose themselves to break the law.
