Fast intentions help

I'm trading my base Z for a Nismo this Friday, will my fast intentions exhaust off of my base Z fit the Nismo?

I know the stock Nismo exhaust fits the other trim Z's.. but just want to make sure. Thanks

I have the FI CBE on my Nismo. Atleast when I got mine in 2012 there was no difference between Nismo or non-Nismo,

Same as my base, 2011. Brother works at Nissan and it's going to be a pretty much even trade lol, couldn't pass it up. Especially with lower miles then my base.

Sounds from gomer comments like it should work.

I hope it does. Only reason I'm asking on FI website it has an option for Nismo or non Nismo.

cooltoy 09-27-2017 10:05 PM

Probably for 2015+. The tips are too short on the non-Nismo one, that's the only difference. If push comes to shove, and they turn out to be too short, you can have any muffler shop extend them.

Pretty sure the only difference is the tips btw Nismo and non-nismo

but if you want to be safe, call or email Fast Intentions and make sure, they're great at answering Q's

I think that the difference in tips is just for 2015+, but definitely good advice to contact FI.

The pipe length behind the tips looks the same.

Here is a 2015+ Nismo. Much longer piping.

Here's a pic of the location of the tips on my Nismo.

Lol hell you can barely see them

I basically asked this exact question not that long ago, this is the response I got from FI:

Quote:

Technically yes, your 2013 370Z base exhaust system will fit on the 2014 370Z Nismo; however the exhaust tips will be sunken behind the bumper about 1 – 1.5”.

We normally build the exhaust tips on the Nismo exhaust system slightly longer to compensate for the different rear bumper on the Nismo.

Just get them lengthened. $100.
