Greddy Revolution RS single exit

I am patiently awaiting my exhaust to arrive; pre-ordered this a few weeks ago. It's a really good deal as you get a full single exit for $795 compared to the AAM which is just y-pipe back for $799.

I can't be the only one on here that has ordered it, has anybody else picked this up? There has to be few since the pre-order sold out.

Yeah, the price is really great for a full cat-back exhaust! We just added these to our site if anyone is interested. We should have 1 or 2 arriving in around 1-2 weeks.

A sound clip/video would be great if you get the chance OP

There's a pretty good sound clip on the greddy site.

I'm curious if the motordyne y-pipe can be swapped out for the one it comes with. I'd be looking to go with art pipes and the XYZ w/ resonator to tone it down a bit but the shape of this y-pipe looks like it will only work with this rear section.

PaulNYz 08-30-2017 04:56 PM

There is indeed a clip on their website, but I'll get some clips of the exhaust under load and also interior sound clips. Just waiting on THmotorsports.. they gave me a date of 9/18

sirnixalot 08-30-2017 05:57 PM

I didn't notice the clip on their site. Thanks:cool:

Did you ever install this exhaust? If so, how do you like it?

Nope. They were set to come in at the end of august, but it was reaching almost a month past that time so I cancelled.

KamiSpeed 10-25-2017 03:15 PM

There will be two Greddy exhausts ready to ship in about a week if anyone wants to order! Let me know :D

I put mine in last night. It will be too loud for where I compete but it sounds good. Drones at highway but it's not too bad. I'll end up putting a silencer in it, but the biggest selling points for me were weight and price. I was looking at the aam single, which weighs similar, but doesn't include the y pipe for the price.

Put up a sound clip if you can!

It will be a while. I don't think I can do a better standing rev video than Greddy, but I will recruit a friend to get sound clips outside the car under load.

Edit: I should be able to get a sound clip in car tonight.

I have a time attack next weekend that I will borrow a go pro and external mic for. This is the best I could do for now.

Wow, that sounds very clean. A nice deep tone too. Good stuff

JohnnyC 11-27-2017 06:51 PM

Put a silencer on it if its too loud. I have a single exhaust and got one of those muffler tip silencer to quiet it down for DD duty.

great advice bro, I don't mind the loudness but if it gets to that point I will definitely look into getting a silencer

Rev9 single exit, it was only $250 brand new and is a Tomei clone so it sounds pretty good for now. I have yet to decide what system I want for the long term. I do enjoy single exit, but I'd like to invest in a nice dual exit soon.

Any issues with fitment on bumper or cross-member for anyone who has installed yet? I remember my AAM 3in. single used to rattle on the cross-member on my old 350z so I had to install a few washers to lower it a little bit.

I just noticed that there are no flex sections in the Y pipe, like others. I wanted this exhaust but by the time it was released I bought the ISR single exit.

That was one of the selling points for me. I think it's dealers choice with flex pipes. Many great exhaust have them, many do not. I prefer exhaust without them as that point always seems to wear and fail.
