New Greddy Evolution GT Exhaust

Hello Members!
We just got in one of the first Greddy Evolution GT Exhausts to test and review. So here we go!

From Greddy's Website:

The EVOlution GT for the Nissan 370Z is not only ideal for turbocharged VQ37s but also makes great power for normally aspirated applications. Dyno test on a N/A car gained as much as 16whp / 19ft-lbs, with more expected for turbo use. The dual cat-back exhaust progresses from a 2.5” Y that transitions smoothly into 3" X-pipe crossover, to dual resonator for equalizing exhaust pressures and improved sound control. Aggressive dual EVO muffler canisters are angled to match the Z looks while making room for the factory EVAP canister. GReddy single-wall slash tips finish off the system under the factory bumper cut-outs. Like all GReddy EVOlution GT systems the fully hand-welded 304 Stainless-Steel exhaust carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

First Impression:
Beautiful... This system is very well crafted. Welds look amazing, hangers were sturdy, flanges well machined. Everything you'd expect from a top tuner company.

Install:
The install was very easy. I was first concerned with the larger 3" piping interfering with parts on the car, but the system went on smoothly. I was also concerned with ground clearance since our car is pretty low. I know the Tomei system hangs pretty low, which is one of the reasons we never installed that system on the car (and single exit). After install, the new Greddy Exhaust sat at the same level as the shaved down Invidia Exhaust we took off. Why was the Invidia Exhaust shaved down? Well, Invidia designed their exhaust to have the flanges mount on the bend that goes under the axle. Adding the size of the flange to the lowest hanging part of the exhaust, reduced even more ground clearance and we ended up shaving it down from scrapping :superghey:

Fit & Finish:
The exhaust doesn't make any contact with any other part on the car, so there's no annoying rattles. Tips sit evenly and the mufflers tuck up nicely. It is definitely louder than the Invidia Gemini Exhaust that was on the car previously. We're working on getting some sound clips uploaded to YouTube  If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Here's the sound clip from Greddy:

Competition Comparison:
Vs. MotorDyne - Probably the most similar exhaust since they both have 2.5" > 3" Dual Piping. However, the Motordyne system cost quite a bit more.

Vs. Tomei - Tomei wins in the weight category, but also costs much more if you're doing the full catback. Both systems use 2.5" Y-Pipe. Greddy has dual mufflers, so you won't have an empty bumper cutout.

Vs. HKS - Similar price range. HKS uses 60mm piping through the whole system. Also, HKS requires removal/modification of the EVAP shield.

Vs. ARK Grip - ARK costs more and uses 63.5mm piping through the whole system.

Vs. FI - Similar price range. FI uses 2.5" piping. FI does offer optional sizes resonators.
