I don't get it i'm searching here and have not been able to find a thread on them. E.Bay has these 60 straight pipes , 57 sold and would have thought that some of you would have written a review positive or negative but I'm thinking of going with these..any opinions appreciated
...price is $279.88

There are tons of threads on eBay-quality exhausts. They're all about the same.

For some, the eBay price point is just right. For others, not so much. Personally, I stay away from eBay when it comes to shopping for my car. I prefer to support the vendors in the community that have proven they value the customer more than the sale (ZSpeed, Fast Intentions, Z1 for the most part).

But it's your car, so do what you want. I would think you could get short tails cheaper than that on eBay.

Well i spent most of the day yesterday listening to sound bites and reading on the sponsors here and the price varies from vendor to vendor but at the end of the day is just 2 pipes and with a flange and tips. years ago I did a local muffler shop and it cost me almost 500 less than a very similar Honda version which a friend of mine recommended, same sound, look and he payed more because it was aluminum vs mine which was regular piping, funny thing is a few years later while working on his car the brackets were steel and were rusty almost brittle..thanks for the reply JARblue
:driving:..oh one more thing...how is the torque at low end as the Z suffers from that out of the box..

I just got the beluga racing version of this. probly the exact same thing.. I have it paired with AAM resonated test pipes and stock Nismo mid section. I love the sound and the fitment was decent. not quite centered in the exhaust gaps but I haven't fettled with it very much yet. Quality of parts and welds looked to be very good.. for $270 pretty hard to beat in my opinion.. as far as the ebay cat-backs.. I personally would stay away from those but I talked to Beluga directly and bought from them instead of ebay and they were great and answered all my questions.

eBay CBE is Beluga and/or J2.

I have actually heard good things about the Beluga cat backs but I was referring to the other ebay HKS replicas. I did do a quick search and saw the j2 cat back but I hadn't seen that before so idk. I do know that the beluga axle back was well worth the 270 I paid for it.. especially when AAM wants 400+ for their axle backs (new)

I had these they are the same thing as topspeed, beluga etc. Sound was great I loved it but I found a deal on a CBE so I went that route. They stuck out on the rear about 2", I sold them to a buddy and he had a diffuser that offset it so the tips lined up perfectly. They are totally worth 270 IMO, the difference between these and top speed are pretty much the tips.
