Straight pipe exhaust with cut outs before & after

Hey guys,

I know there have been several people intrested in doing straight pipe but dont know if they want the constant "pull me over please" attention.

Where i live there are serious noise restrictions but i track my 370 regularly. I wanted something loud that turned heads at the track but was grampa silent on the street and i definitly got that with this set up.

Feel free to ask any questions. I hope this video helps anyone out looking for a similar option.

Cool idea, i was thinking about doing something like that, but having the cutouts between the resonators and the mufflers.

In Winnipeg it's ZED not ZEE :p

Nice video, am sure people will find it helpful. Mine is louder than yours with the cutouts open already and want to quiet it down not the other way around.

Where did you get the cutout. Looks like it is electric or Bluetooth motorized, something like that? But more info on that piece would be cool.

Some electric cutouts would have been helpful on Sundays evenings at Tims north main back in the day!

Thanks man, at the end of the video i put in a picture of the set up. I had them installed right after the resignator but before the muffler.

Whoops, my bad, then I was thinking about doing it exactly like that. How much did the cost you?

I see it now that I didn't close the video 3/4 of the way through. My bad

Im running the quick time set up with electric cable. I ran a wire from the cut outs up through the front firewall and placed the switch inbetween the two heated seat switches on the arm consol.

Heres the link to the exact kit i purchased however i purchased 2 kits as its a duel exhaust.

https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/qtp-qtec45cp

In total with parts and labour im sitting at $1050 CAD... thats like $16.35 USD after conversion...:icon17::icon17:

QUICK CORRECTION- i stated i purchased 2 of the kits in the link above however the link i provided already includes 2.... if you purchase the kit in that link then you will be fine for duel exhuast set up

I wanted to do that, but with the nismo H mid pipe and the AAM H pipe I have now there just isn't the clearance to go sideways

If there a good welder, anything can be done;););)
