All the same?
Excluding hfc and resonated test pipes, aren't all test pipes the same? Brand doesn't really matter at the end of the day.

Grade of material and quality of workmanship doesn't make 'em all the same.

Even if you didn't want to go all the way to $100 ebay pipes... you can get a set from garageline for $170. |
See now the hard part is finding resonated test pipes that sourced good resonators that won't break the bank. Motordyne art pipes are godly but man, they are pricey :(
|
I saw your post on the classifieds. I think you should check out the 1320 test pipes. They would probably work for you until you're ready to upgrade to motordyne art pipes.
|
Might have to :/ do art pipes pop up often?

**** theres test pipes out of japan that are 700$ unresonated! High flow cats like 2k$. QUALITY you hear all these rattle stories, brackets not lining up, welds cracking, etc! In car parts and most everything in life you honestly get what you pay for

If you pay $700 for non-resonated test pipes you aren't getting what you pay for. You're just getting ripped off. |
Test pipes are just short, more-or-less straight, pieces of tubing to get from point A to point B. Not enough differences in performance and sound to worry about. If they were longer or actually did something, it would matter. All you need to worry about is quality of materials and construction. YMMV
Most muffler shops can fab up a set in short order. |
The Fast Intentions resonated test pipes are good quality (welds and workmanship), sound great, and are fairly priced (approx. $375).

I ordered the 1320 pipes that over limit recommend, let's see how this goes
