All you are doing is getting rid of the axel back portion of the exhaust (i.e. your muffler), it is only 4 bolts. Order the AAM Short Tails... for you to keep the stock tips, they need to be cut and attached to the new pipes.

:iagree:

For the price you'd pay a muffler shop to hack up the stock exhaust to remove the muffler, you are much better off going for the short tails or just saving up for a full catback.

The AAM short tails aren't super cheap. You can get what is more or less the same thing from Topspeed or Beluga for considerably less coin.

I'm definitely thinking about doing it on mine. My search begins.

Nick that sounds really good.

Can you explain exactly what you had done?

The pipes look awesome with the fitment!

Yea, the only thing that is done to the car at the moment is the AAM resonated short tails. These are also the Nismo versrion which give you 5" tips to fill out the exhaust cut outs. And the reason I went resonated is to eliminate some drone and control the rasp when i upgrade the rest of the exhaust.
