Stupid question. just want to make sure before i buy. the OEM exhaust system is the same between years right? the exhaust from a 2015 for example will fit my 2009?

thanks

Should fit but why would you want an oem exhaust?

The Nismo version is different from the regular OEM exhaust. I believe it's made by HKS. You may want to go that route.

All oem exhausts will bolt up to any model or year.

True, but the Nismo muffler uses an extension on the forward hanger and you will either need to get this extension piece if you have the base model or just use the two rear hangers for the Nismo muffler.

The Y pipe on the base exhaust is very small and restrictive so at least get an aftermarket Y pipe that is 2"+ at the cats.

That's funny because I did the same thing. The FI was beautiful but the drone bothered me and I thought it was because I'm older LOL. It wasn't too loud it was just too loud from 2-3K RPM under light throttle. I have a Nismo exhaust now.
