Any possible exhaust configurations?

I was wondering if anyone had the chance to do different configurations of different brands.
Now i do know that different brands of exhausts may come into different locations of how they bolted up..
I was wondering if anyone had any success of different brands of piping put together for a good fitment on the Z?

Are you talking about different catback exhaust configurations?

If your talking about mixing the midpipe of one brand with the axle back of another that usually will not work.
Only axle backs and mid pipes sold separately should line up because their mean to connect to stock mid pipes and axle back bolt locations.

Yes, i meant trying to configure the whole catback system..
When you mentioned only axlebacks and midpipes sold seperately are suppose to connect to the OEM pipes.. Would something like a Tomei Y PIPE to.. An AAM or other axle back work? Im pretty sure im missing one more piping.. Midpipe?

Tomei Y, OEM mid, AAM axleback?

These arent what im particularly looking for, but rather a 'feel' of what I will need in terms of the OEM part to bolt up the mix.

"Use this Mid "Y" Pipe with the stock muffler section"

Yes that would work, but you don't need the oem mid.

Thanks! I see that it is a Y Pipe.. Wouldnt i need the single piping part (bottom Y) to be connected to two seperate pipings?
Since there are two cats, i was looking for a dual system at the axleback.

So are you saying that for an example I have a beluga mid pipe and axleback. If I wanted to add a Tomei Y pipe that would fit?

I am using the NISMO H/Mid Pipe section with the stock muffler and it sounds significantly better than the stock Y Pipe.
