What is the weight vs. the stock system?

EDIT: The total weight savings is about 8lbs from what we've been told by MXP.

Really? Can you verify this? I was led to believe otherwise O_o;

The total weight of the MXP exhaust is 56lbs. From what we have seen, the factory exhaust weighs about 62lbs (however, my source could be a little off).

So it's an actual increase in weight...weird.

Not too bad, it's on the low part of the car so it's not ridiculous or anything, but I didn't expect an aftermarket exhaust to be heavier than stock..

+2 lbs. for this sort of exhaust layout is really good, imo.

From what we have been told, the walls of the piping are bit thicker to withstand the abuse of daily driving. Being that the exhaust itself has a full 3 year warranty, they wanted to construct the most durable, high performance system on the market. With that said, some things had to be sacrificed.

Not knocking it or anything, really, it was just confusing. I still really like it :tup:

Being that we have never physically weighed the factory Z34 exhaust, it is hard for us to make a factual comparison. We are solely going off the information provided to us.

By the way, after a decade of being on forums and seeing close to a million avatars, yours has to be by far the most unique. congrats, LOL!

The Stillen CBE is also heavier than stock.

The first few units should be arriving any day now :D
