exhaust system

Hey guys,

I decided to replace the original exhaust system on my 2013 370Z 7at. The stock is too quiet. So what to choose? Ark, Stillen, Akrapovich, (armytrix is good, but too expensive),...Do I have to replace the entire exhaust, or just the muffler?
I just want make some noise with my Z :)

Thanks for answers and tips.

Aleš from Slovenia.

Gee, if only there were some threads about exhaust here on the forum or some way to search for threads about which exhausts people like.

Seriously, use the search function or be prepared to get flamed.

BTW, Fast Intentions catback exhaust is awesome.

:tiphat:

Dobry den,

The best thing you can do is hear an exhaust for yourself on an actual vehicle. The second best thing is to check out all the youtube videos you can using very good speakers. Exhausts are very subjective meaning that what sounds good to me might sound like crap to you. Just make sure you have a good idea of where you plan to go with building your car so you don't have to spend twice.

Problem for this guy is that he's in Slovenia. If he wants something "right now" , bespoke may not be an option.

If you just want noise I would get AAM short tails. Only 400 bucks and a dramatic difference in sound in my opinion sounds better than most catback systems and you don't have to wait half a year for fast intentions. If you wanna go even louder and deeper sounding, throw some resonated test pipes or art pipes. But id start with aam first

Shipping to Germany through DHL for just the two mufflers is over $400

TerribleONE 05-19-2016 03:15 PM

Nissan 370z is pretty rare in Slovenia. In whole slovenia is maybe 5 cars and one of them have akrapovich muffler, wich dont sound so good.

Youtube videos then. Just make sure the speakers are good. Another option is to check with some German tuners. Thats not so bad a drive. I used to drive from Prague to Germany two or three times a month to shop. If you pick up an exhaust just leave the OEM there and drive back on the new one.

This is loud enough. For me :) If my 370z sound like that, i would be very happy. But this is without mufflers. I would have to check if this is alowed in Slovenia

Shipping is big problem. I know. All good exhausts are from America. Only armytrix have store in England. Shipping to Slovenia is just 100 EUR, but exhaust system for 370z is 3.560,13 EUR incl. VAT (Cat-back, Race Y-pipe + mid pipe + valvetronic muffler + wireless remote control kit + dual chrome silver tips (2x115mm). Its just too much.
