Tony, I'm not sure if there's a dedicated thread for this yet, but do you have a status update on longtube header development?

Thanks, Tony

There you go, David is close to you. Hopefully you two can meet up. As far as the install goes, you can do it yourself. I will supply you with detailed instructions. In fact, possibly David could give you some insight or maybe even help. Do not hesitate to ask if you need anything...

Thank you, Tony

If you have access to a lift, I highly recommend it. Some of the OEM bolts are tight on an insane level.

I jacked my Z on the back end via the diff, then placed two stands underneath where some large rods go back behind the diff since I don't have the adapters to use the recommended locations (area nearest I could figure safe). I'm sure it's not "correct" but it held and didn't move....

It took me a few hours to get the OEM exhaust off because of the PITA bolts...but putting the FI CBE went fast/quick/easy. Instructions are clear enough.

Thanks Kannibul!
I would like hear the CBE before buying it but not sure if that would be possible.
Lets see what happens!

Tony,
I'd be interested to know the HP& TQ numbers for the exhaust with the 18" resonators since all I see is for the 12.

PS for the guys wondering the height: my drive way is about a 50 degree incline and i have to watch out for my front under spoiler more than the exhaust.

They are the same. The size of the resonator has no effect on power output.

Both resonators are straight through and we are talking about a difference in 6 inches in length. Although I have not dyno tested the two against each other, I feel that it is a safe bet to say there is no difference in numbers.

I am glad that you posted about the driveway and the height. I have heard very few complaints about scarping...

Correct, the system with the 12" resonators is the louder one. Sorry that it took a little while to get back to you. I will send you an email now...

Thanks, Tony
