Stillen exhaust

I installed the Stillen exhaust system yesterday. I couldn't be happier with it. It is a nice clean install, looks great and the sound is perfect for me. It is not a deafening system and has 0 drone. I would describe the sound as a stock G37 system on steroids. Aggressive tone with a nice sting. The power boost is not particularly noticeable on the butt dyno but it sure sounds like you are going faster!

I think we can add the Motordyne Shockwave system now?

Catback Recommendations

I was wondering if you guys can recommend me a catback for my new 2011 370Z. I am looking for something in mid to aggressive range. Looking for something that is bolt and no welding required.

TIA.

Motordyne Shockwave.

Quiet when cruising and idling, aggressive after 4k.

All v-bands, very easy, if you need it to be a little quieter, there is a resonator/HFC module (also V-band) available to slot in there.

Not a single person has said anything but great things about the exhaust note and you can find several vids around showing off the sound.

Well someone will tel you to use the "search function"

However. Your question is going to be different with everyone, depending on ones idea of exhaust sound.

There's tons of catbacks out there....to name a few; Motordyne, fast intentions,ARK,HKS,Berk,Tanabe,Stillen...etc etc there's LOTS of companies. Depends on what you like. They all look slightly different and use different set ups.

I myself have the tanabe. Its one of the "tamer" ones supposedly, but I think its plenty loud and its got a great sound! Hope that gives some insight

Fast Intention Non-Resonated FTW. Plus their customer service is second to none.

I would go with the all 3 sections of the GTHAUS/Meisterschaft Exhaust. This is just my opinion. The down fall is that you are going to pay a premium, but you will get an extremely awesome exhaust sound.

What about Borla?

Been looking at the Borla, but I travel in my Z and don't really want a drone at 80mph - or less.

suprisingly its not that bad at all, and now with my hfcs they sound more tuned/deep. Borla and hfcs are a good combo imo :driving:
