Hi Everyone, Just wanna share results from my Zs' Dyno Test
My Z is equipped with the following Mods: 1. Powerhouse Amuse R1 Titan RS Silent STTi Exhaust 2. Powerhouse Amuse Super Silent Sports Catalytic Converter Set 3. Powerhouse Amuse R1 Front Pipe, 4. HKS Cold Air Intake System Racing Suction Reloaded The result showed that it reached 311RWHP @ 7400RPM on the 3rd run... Never test for the base WHP so im not sure how much gain the Z made. Probably 20-25RWHP gain... Here's some pics: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._3657460_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...50_72563_n.jpg |
Hello all,
Sorry I've been really poor at keeping this up to date. I'm slowly adding more exhausts now, though. Let me know if I'm missing anything and I'll add it ASAP. |

Stillen exhaust
I installed the Stillen exhaust system yesterday. I couldn't be happier with it. It is a nice clean install, looks great and the sound is perfect for me. It is not a deafening system and has 0 drone. I would describe the sound as a stock G37 system on steroids. Aggressive tone with a nice sting. The power boost is not particularly noticeable on the butt dyno but it sure sounds like you are going faster!

I think we can add the Motordyne Shockwave system now?

Catback Recommendations
I was wondering if you guys can recommend me a catback for my new 2011 370Z. I am looking for something in mid to aggressive range. Looking for something that is bolt and no welding required.
TIA. |
Motordyne Shockwave.
Quiet when cruising and idling, aggressive after 4k. All v-bands, very easy, if you need it to be a little quieter, there is a resonator/HFC module (also V-band) available to slot in there. Not a single person has said anything but great things about the exhaust note and you can find several vids around showing off the sound. |
Well someone will tel you to use the "search function"
However. Your question is going to be different with everyone, depending on ones idea of exhaust sound. There's tons of catbacks out there....to name a few; Motordyne, fast intentions,ARK,HKS,Berk,Tanabe,Stillen...etc etc there's LOTS of companies. Depends on what you like. They all look slightly different and use different set ups. I myself have the tanabe. Its one of the "tamer" ones supposedly, but I think its plenty loud and its got a great sound! Hope that gives some insight |

Fast Intention Non-Resonated FTW. Plus their customer service is second to none.

Berk paired with HFC.

I would go with the all 3 sections of the GTHAUS/Meisterschaft Exhaust. This is just my opinion. The down fall is that you are going to pay a premium, but you will get an extremely awesome exhaust sound.

What about Borla?

This thread either needs to be seriously updated or taken down as a sticky. Most of the pictures and none of the videos work anymore.

Reduced exhaust restriction without being LOUD?
Would welcome suggestions for any CBEs that provide the benefits of reduced restrictions without the "wake the dead" blat.
Thx in advance. |
Motordyne TDX2 and retain the stock cats.

Is there a thread like this for long tube headers?

Hks super sound master, the official video link takes me to a place that well id say is inappropriate and definitely not for the exhaust. Its the orange/red colored link. Please fix it
