Yeah i placed an order with tunerzstore but r2c apparently had production issues and is still on backorder, was pretty keen on getting mishimoto intake tubes and r2c panel filters

Don't bother trying to order these, you'll be waiting forever. They aren't making them due to a lack of materials. I've been waiting almost two months and just canceled my order.

Well that sucks... :icon14:

That does suck, I was going to order a pair this summer. So are K&N the best option now for drop-ins, since these aren't available?

Yup i was told they are still on backorder too. Uuuhhhh

ive read that the k&n have been known to gunk up the maf sensor.

AFE makes a dry, reusable drop in that flows better than regular paper filters and costs about the same as the K&N.

killrain 06-07-2016 05:43 PM

I checked their site, it says its oiled. Am I missing something?

Search for Pro Dry S filters on Amazon.

killrain 06-07-2016 06:50 PM

Awesome. You have any experience personally with them?

ChiefPat 06-07-2016 07:48 PM

I just put a set in a few days ago. Can't say if it has really helped much, but I have HPS post MAF tubes coming in the mail to go with them. There was a lot of positive feedback on these filters here on the forums.

awesome sauce. I just finished putting my berk resonated test pipes on paired with a nismo exhaust i got. Just wanted to finish it off with the maf tubes and filters as well. Cant see paying $300-$500 on an intake system, when its just tubing and filters.

FWIW, I did finally get a set of these from tunerz_store a couple of months ago

What's the verdict? Thinking about these in alternative to my K&Ns.

No oil/washing and better flow seems like a win/win

I've still got my R2C CAI installed, so I haven't actually installed these yet. I was just confirming they are in stock and available. Excellent price too - much cheaper than the K&N filters.
