Simple question regarding axlebacks

This may have been beaten to death but is it true that there is no resonated axleback that does not protrude a few inches beyond the rear bumper? I am having a hell of a time trying to find one. Similar to the Topspeed axleback without the protrusion. Thanks.

Are you referring to the axleback for the G37 that a couple of people have put on their Nismo with decent fitment?
