Invidia or Agency Power - Please help

I have bought my 2013 370z (manual base coupe) about a month ago and I would love to get everything for this car, but money is an issue since I am a College student :ughdance:

I am getting very tired of the stock exhaust since it seems very quiet to me..

Looking into different exhausts under $1000, it seems like Invidia Gemini CBE and Agency Power CBE are popular, but with both little gains. I did take off the stock muffler to hear what it would sound like and I was pleased the sound, but it may be right at the point where it may be too loud, so AAM short tails is out of the picture especially with people saying the torque loss is significant that you can feel due to loss in pressure..

Anyway, please express your opinion since I am going crazy now looking into all these exhausts, and if you have any other suggestions please comment:tup:

I have neither of these CBEs, but take note that the Agency Power is a true dual exhaust, with no crossover (x-pipe or h-pipe) prior to the mid-pipes. I'm not sure that it's ever been empirically proven that it matters on a naturally aspirated VQ37, but throwing it out there for your consideration. Also, true duals definitely have a different sound compared to those systems with an x-pipe or h-pipe.

Good luck with whichever you choose!

Thank you Memphis, does the true dual have a better rep than the crossovers?

More 370Z owners run a CBE with a crossover, it seems. I, too, run an x-pipe, which I prefer over an h-pipe, but that's mainly from experience from owning previous cars, other than my Z. Personally, I believe in exhaust scavenging, in general.

Invidia has good build quality and sound for the price. I used to run that kit.

I do like the Invidia and the single layer titanium tips they have, but people say that it is not much louder than stock.. Would pairing it with some HFCs be a good idea and if so, what brands for a reasonable price would you recommend with it or maybe test pipes? :ugh2:

Invidia. Agency Power is one of Vivid's companies, and Vivid blows goats.

The H-Pipe, or X-pipe (depending on what exhaust you get) helps balance the exhaust, and really helps get rid of the rasp that NA motors tend to get. Doesn't seem to really change power numbers from what we have seen. Invidia would be my go to on those options.

Invidia is great to keep it reasonable at cruising speeds, but sporty once you get on it. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my exhaust sound (Momentum headers, Motordyne ART pipes, Invidia cat-back). VERY little rasp.

Thanks guys, starting to narrow it to the Invidia gemini single layer titanium tips CBE.. now just looking for a good deal :driving:
