Exhaust System

I have a 2013 Z and looking into getting an exhaust. My plan is headers, high flow cat, and exhaust. Seeing as I plan on getting turbo some time in the future, I was gonna go ahead and get 3" piping now. My question is, where can I find 3" exhaust and a high flow cat where one end is 2" or 2.5" and the other end is 3"?

Are you sure you plan on going turbo? Buying headers now and wanting to go turbo down the line might be a big waste of money as those hearders are going to be replaced by the turbo manifolds anyway.

As for your exhaust, call Fast Intentions and talk to them about your ultimate goals with the car. They can take care of all your exhaust needs.

:iagree:

headers will be a large waste of money if you plan on boost.

also agree with FI. best exhaust on the market.

OP they have 2.5" and 3" options......and TT kits :tiphat:

like they stated if you plan on going turbo, i wouldn't get it. instead of spending $1300-1400 on headers put that money towards the turbo

my opinion no. if boost is for sure then the $600 for stillen, $900 for Z1 or $1200 for FI LTH isn't worth the HP gains if boost is in the works.

but if you are 50/50 on boost and the whole multiple years part thennnnn idk maybe?

if you want sound vs HP then just get FI test pipes for $275. good gains and loud!.

my first system was FI non res TP and non res CBE and i put down 324whp and hurt peoples ears.

then i went straight pipes and make people hate me lol :bowrofl:

You can always install the headers and use them for now but in the long run it's just going to cost you headaches and money which could be saved for the turbo. Ask anyone on here about a header install - not fun at all.

If I were you, I'd ask myself what do I want from this car and go from there. :tiphat:
