Check engine light after Fast Intentions TP install

It was a statement of fact, in the original post. Followed by the question "is this related to the test pipes or did the sensor go bad...." Since that time, it was determined that the code was for a/f sensor and had nothing to do with the test pipes themselves.

I never really thought that the CEL was from their product, was just looking for reassurance to back it up.

well im glad you got it figured out and it sucks that they went on you. wonder if they just went bad or if it was due to installation mishaps.

I'm thinking vibration or a swift bump is what caused it. **** happens. Love the test pipes though, aggressive sound and surprisingly no drone that everyone talks about. I think the ARK catback helped eliminate that. Definitely a little rasp and hiss around 3500-4000rpm otherwise it sounds incredible. Very exotic

3200-4000 is a bit raspy but at 7k+ mine screams like nothing else :driving:

Check Engine Light after Fast Intentions TDX Cat Back Exhaust System

Had the TDX Cat Back installed and after 100 miles of Interstate driving I received a Engine code P2096/2098. Has anyone encountered same and what was your solution?

Ken

what mods do you have?

think thats A/F lean code.

if you have full exhaust and add TP's that could possibly lean out the stock tune too much.

typically when you do full exhaust and intakes a tune is the smart next move.

FI products should not throw any CEL codes if everything else is good. typically the codes that come up is based on hurting the O2 sensor when installing TPs or needing a tune.

I installed my non res FI exhaust with non res test pipes last month. So far no engine light on.

I'm still waiting for FI to introduce this FP option so I can get my muffler delete. The exhaust sounds great with the 10" tips but I thought they'd be louder, so I was a bit disappointed :(
