Does Fast Intentions really have the best hp gain? Or is it just the one with most reviews? And what are your favorite fast intentions setups ans explain the sound. (Raspy, Deep, Loud)

Stop wasting time OP, I regretted waiting 1 month to place my order, I would have got mine 1 month sooner.
Look at my state, I post everywhere whining about when ill get my exhaust and rhfc.

When i get them, Ill make a thread about how i survived the wait.

18 HP At the Rear Wheels=Stillen just sayin.....

I am not bashing or anything, But i have seen stillen's claims.
the 500 hp supercharger was no where close. So i doubt the stillen exhaust would be 18 whp.

I am pretty sure there are better ones out there, But i am pretty sure FI has the most gains. If i am wrong, I must have missed something. Dont crucify me.

There are many other exhaust combinations that will gain you good hp. Look at Berk hfc, ppe headers, and motordyne. Many of us have FI and are happy with it. The service is excellent. I've experienced it myself. Many shops speak highly of their products. A few do not care for it but that's their problem. You should connect with a forum member close to where you live so you can actually ride in their car and help you decide.

The reason i believe in fast intentions is simple,
if people can wait 3 months for an exhaust, it must be pretty damn worth it.

I personally am waiting for them, I can only tell you this much, Their customer service is good. I haven't seen what most people refer to as great, but i have no complaints at all.
If you look around there might be some dynos proving fast intentions gains which are pretty impressive.

It is definitely worth it, I have heard 7 years worth of exhaust notes on the VQ37 and nothing even came close to it.

Having said that, if you're buying any catback for power gains then you better save your money.

My order number was 911 and it is the best thing I think I will have ever purchased for my Z (18in Resonators). Love the sound at start up, idle when warm, around town, and WOT. I look forward to getting HFC's but I haven't decided what brand. With how happy I am with the cat back exhaust I'll more than likely look into Fast Intentions again.

What exactly is it that you don't like about the FI exhaust, or the company? Please share.

My first attempt was quite reactive so let me take a more mature approach. What exactly do you know of them that make you think this way? Please do share.

Please enlighten us to the issues you have with F.I.

I have a used F.I. CBE waiting to go on. I called them to order a new gasket/hardware set for it. Really great customer service. They even emailed me PDF directions for the install since I purchased used.

Although I haven't heard many in person, out of all the videos I've watched on exhaust sounds, F.I. and ARK were the best sounding IMO.

OP, if you're looking for the best gains, best sound, and best customer service then FI is the company/exhaust to go with. the product is above and beyond in quality. the HP gains with a TP or HFC plus CBE is well worth the cost when you add in the amazing sound factor.

like others have said, try to not hesitate if this is the route for you. there is about a 10-12 week wait time due to extreme interest in the systems and that they are all hand made. the wait time should speak for how desirable this exhaust is for the 370Z.

Bottom line, it was a jab at those who post separate threads on a question/topic that could of been asked within an existing thread and not create another thread when there are many FI threads out there.

Lastly, no I don't have any issues with FI. From what I know, along with first hand knowledge, FI is a super company and provides quality parts and service. If it wasn't for the wait time, FI would of had my money before anyone else.

Why do you guys all talk about HFCs? Are there not many running their LTHs? Are there more gains with the HFCs over the headers? Personally, I have F.I. LTH and 12" resonated CBE and I love the look, sound, power gains, build quality, and the personal relationship I've built with Tony that I call him a friend.

Hey RN. That's quite a trek you took to get to Simi from SD when you were out here in CA. I know Hotrodz comes from AZ. Says a lot about the loyalty he created. As for LTHs I get what you're saying. Not sure about the gains LTHs have over HE's. Starting from scratch probably good to start off with LTHs but once you start off with a HFC like I did, no sense making the switch.

Personally I ordered (ordered have not yet received, just for the record) the HFC so I could keep some sort of legality to the car. Im registered in AL, but since im currently driving in CA (military) and could drive really anywhere, I didnt want a cop to smell and put my DD out of commission 'till I paid too much and put too much time and work into putting the stock parts back on.

Fast intention is good but the 3 month wait , i wasn't looking forward to that, spend a few extra and get motordyne exhaust for 1800 shipped, got mine delivered within 4 days. The sound is intoxicating, above 3k its so loud, deep aggressive tone, NO RASP, NO DRONE. i have mine with stock cats. amazing, its so worth it. i also have the upgraded 5 inch blue tips. i got so many compliments, sounds is amazing, my only regret was not getting it sooner. don't get me wrong, fast intention is excellent quality, so is motordyne. both top notch excellent exhaust. here some pics - 2014 touring sports 6mt, stillen g3 intakes + motordyne exhaust , 5 inch tips, stock cats.

no problem, trust me you will not regret it, i got the upgraded 5 inch rolled tips, amazing.

You also forgot to add that it weighs more than the stock exhaust lol. So even though you're gaining a little bit of power, you're still adding weight to it too.
