Well, I really wish there was more participation from the 370Z guys, but none the less we had a great meet and also a awesome turnout...about 30+ cars made it out to Pearlridge and had about 25 with us when we cruised to the NEX for some pics...Here are the pics I took...ENJOY!

So here are my set that I took at the NEX and again, thank you to all that came out to our first meet of the year and hope to see you all more and more...not on with the pics...btw...these are straight from the camera...no editing...too lazy :D

Also, they are in no particular order and I wish I had a tripod...some pics are blury...ENJOY :D

You think so? I guess.. I was a little disapointed at first, I was hopeing(expecting) 315-320 rwhp and 260-265 rwtq. Oh well, its only numbers anyways and not far off from what I wanted. Just means I have to talk with GTM later.... :stirthepot:

Kingbaby 01-22-2011 06:56 AM

well don't judge your car against stateside car dyno's

this Hawaii brah...lmao

plus if you go get a tune and drop the cobb AP you should get a tad more out of your car...

where did you get the dyno done?

nixxer 01-22-2011 07:57 AM

My tune is custom and not some canned map. Sonics did the work and tuning. Litteraly a month after getting it tuned Cobb came out and said they no longer support the 370. But it wasnt all bad, cause I have had to use my AP to reflash and clear codes a few times already, cant do that with UpRev.

Kingbaby 01-22-2011 08:07 AM

understood

but the COBB AP is still limited compared to UpRev/Osiris tunes seeing that it's all done at once here in hawaii temps...

weather plays a huge part in a tune, which I'm sure you know

I'm more than sure that if you had a tune locally at MunkyWurks you'd see more than that cobb ap

I had the cobb on order until they discontinued the support :( it's always win/win with a device like that...

what else do you have in the works for your Z car?

nixxer 01-22-2011 08:29 AM

Sonics is local... the tune was local. MunkyWorks only tunes with UpRev, Sonic Motorsports only tunes with Cobb. My car sat on a dyno for about 4 hours before they felt it was good enough. Comparatively, UpRev and Cobb can only tune ignition advance/retard, afr, rev limit, speed limit, and if an auto shift strength and shift points. Thanks to VVEL no timing adjustment made sticks, no adjustment to throttle open % or conditions. I would gain nothing by switching to UpRev. As similar as the VQ37 is to the VQ35, it isnt just a resleeved and stroked VQ35. VVEL is just that different. We cant do any cam phasing like you guys can. Not until a VVEL controler is released at least.

don't knock it...it's actually the best bang for the buck stateside...it's like $40 to fill a bottle oppose to $150 here in hawaii...

the HR blocks are better suited to see more from teh nos...

did a whole lots research and it's not worth it here...

one of the mods over on my350z been spraying since 04 and he has timeslips in the low 11s

waiting for a another member to get back from deployment and get the GTM supercharger 500hp for $5800.
