Hey I have an idea... Navyboy, your Z is white, right? If it is... you me and simota should meet up for a photo shoot and arrange the Zs in red white and blue order. :D

Navyboy916 09-18-2012 12:06 AM

No my z is black cherry

Navyboy916 09-18-2012 12:07 AM

You check out my pics on my profile

Navyboy916 09-18-2012 12:08 AM

My car is going into Nissan next weds for the JUN camshaft install

afbunn 09-18-2012 10:00 PM

Yeah I'd like to see both your cars sometime. I'm still miffed about missing that meet though. Do any of you know someone who could eventually within a few months possibly fabricate me a tablet holder out of an OEM cubby assembly? To fit a Google Nexus 7.

LTH ordered...

Just placed my Long Tube Headers order with Tony@Fast Intentions this morning:driving:

I'll be the first owner/member on Guam to have these and according to Tony the first member in world to have these headers on with nitrous:happydance:

I can't wait to see what I'll be putting down on the dyno once Navyboy brings that badboy in.

Alot of innovators are coming from Guam.

1. Simota1 with all the aesthetic mods before people even were comfortable with modding their 370s. His innovation did alot for the Z community.

2. I was the first and still only member to ever use Nitrous here on Guam on the 350/370 platform. I can count on one hand that amount of Nitrous users worldwide on the VQ platform. Now the 1st worldwide to have LTH w/nitrous. Super excited:happydance:

3. Navyboy916 will be the first worldwide to have the JUN cam installed on the 370z.

Keep it up guys. I love the way we are leading the community.:tiphat:

Navyboy916 09-18-2012 11:21 PM

I have more people saying they r in for the next meet

Hopeful for a bigger turn out. Especially with the other makes/models. If you haven't known this by now. There are alot of "Flakers" in Guam.

Especially when people are trying to buy something from you in Dragguam. They tend to never show up or say yeah this and that time and they never even give a courstesy text or respond back if they want the product still.

Before when Simota use to assemble the Z/G meets everyone shows up. Now their are just a different group of owners out there.

why would u say that? is it spongey? or absolutely nothing

afbunn 09-24-2012 05:05 PM

It was spongey at first, it would be limp halfway down then it would have tension and I could engage it, and it would only come up about 1/4 of the way on its own and I'd have to pick it up with my foot for it to spring back to rest. But eventually it just completely died out and is just sitting on the floor. I'm having it towed and worked on today. Mechanic says it sounds like the slave cylinder and if it is, the tranny won't need to be dropped so it should be a relatively quick and easy fix. Fingers crossed.

I've done some searching here on the site and this issue is not uncommon, not just for 370z but Maximas, Altys, Sentras even... anything Nissan that's manual seems to be prone to this issue.

my slave cylinder did the same thing.... you know what fixed my problem? and this is no joke.... that helper spring... the guy from canada...i actually even have a SS clutch line to make the pressure higher... but after i installed the spring... the spongey dead pedal feel went away..... i still have the SS cable if you wanna give it a try, if it is the slave cylinder completely dead though i recommend a metal one.... it will take longer to get out here but it will never break on you EVER....

Downed Z

There was a downed Black Cherry Z with Yigo plates right in the front of the 4-way intersection in YSengsong Rd and DMS area. Hazards were on and traffic was backed up because of it. No driver inside Was this anyone here?

Only person I can think of with a Black Cherry Z is Navyboy916.....

Navyboy916 09-25-2012 02:29 AM

There's a girl I know who's a bartender at Porky's who also drives a black cherry. Could have been her. She's gorgeous. :)
