I'll give you $1 for it

AzSpeng 04-01-2014 10:29 PM

it would just become car parts storage if i did that ;) magic will happen if it stays right where its at!

GaleForce 04-01-2014 10:31 PM

You could have spent more than $5 on a lamp. :roflpuke2:

AzSpeng 04-01-2014 10:35 PM

could have..but we are poor now! Had to buy a pressbrake, waterjet, welder, and welding table just to make some 370z coolant tanks! Have to sell a metric crapload of these things just to recoup the money spent!!

Things have been nuts in the shop lately getting orders put together and whatnot. so! TIME FOR AN UPDATE!

After getting the pressbrake dialed in and installed correctly, we have the tanks cut and bent. Have a look!

Next up is pressbrake work on the final side, welding the assembly together and the finish work!

Any idea how long that will take? I'm hoping to get mine before July.

AzSpeng 05-14-2014 10:50 AM

We have some updates. All welded up waiting on a final test fit so we know what hose to provide and what size hose. then out for powdercoat/anodize.

Wiggins3377 05-14-2014 12:18 PM

What about the power steering reservoir? Do you still plan on making one?

AzSpeng 05-14-2014 12:20 PM

we sure do. We need someone with a car to bring it on down to the shop....thats one of the hold ups right now.

AzSpeng 05-14-2014 12:21 PM

If we cant find someone to bring a car down to have overnight for a day or 2, We have decided to rent a 370z to get it knocked out.

If you were local I'd help you out!! Do you need a car fir fitment purposes or could you use an OEM reservoir off the car?

Haboob 05-14-2014 01:16 PM

You have to have it overnight?

I only ask, because this is my only form of transportation and to be without it for a weekend would be really difficult, as I'd have to have the car back Sunday afternoon so that I can insure that I have a ride to work on Monday morning. As well as securing a chauffeur for the weekends activities. :icon17:

VRSean 05-14-2014 01:35 PM

I can do an overnighter, check your AIM ;)

AzSpeng 05-14-2014 02:07 PM

aim checked and replied. sean knows what the overnighter is for ;) another new product for you guys in 1 shot.

Its just a 1 full day overnight with late/long hours to knock out another product.

Wiggins3377 05-14-2014 02:17 PM

if its for the power steering reservoir my money is on standby.

Sorry for the novice question but is this an additional or replacement part for the Z? And what is the purpose?

1. It's a fancy replacement part.
2. To dress up the engine bay.

We are just waiting on some fittings. test fit is flawless. its been a rough few weeks. landed a pretty big job with a company in town that has just eaten up 3 weeks of production time. Once things get a little calm in the shop ill have them boxed up ready for shipment.

They look great in the car, fit is perfect.

I have 50 of them on the shelf, about 10 are welded and the rest need welding but its a simple affair to weld them up.

Thx for the update man. Sounds like things are going well for you, getting decent work through the door is always welcome! And hopefully it'll be good for all us 370z nutters, as you'll keep growing & making awesome parts!

Speaking of which - when are we gonna see some CAD drawings of a sweet billet paddle shifter kit?!?!

Its been a long haul for sure. Just working hard to get as much cash as possible this year so we can focus on the things we have a passion for.

Got some serious Aluminum plate on the way ;)

Nixlimited 06-14-2014 11:48 PM

Is this replacement going to be made to work with the 2012 setup, where the pressure cap is on the actual reservoir (versus pre-2012)? Also, could you make a divided reservoir with two caps so I can put windshield wiper fluid in the other part? Need something like that for my TT setup!

Specifically, this is what I want:

Any chance I will be able to receive this before the end of July? It's the last piece needed for my engine bay.
