I was told through PM that the purple kits were supposed to go out by today... I was under the impression that all kits would be made ready to ship before the GB would be over. Most forums don't allow vendors to promote anything but in-stock, ready-to-go products, so this kind of wait is new to me. Kind of disappointed at this point, because this was supposed to be kind of a present for my wife.

Supposedly some have been shipped...although we don't know who. I'm starting to wonder if we've been had...

2 paid orders were supposed to go out on the 14th, 2 business days after the group buy ended, but I don't think either of those has gone out.

The seller had very good communication and responsiveness before the group by period ended, but I haven't heard anything back from him since last Friday.

Personally, I fulfilled over 20 orders for parts off a car I was parting out in a 45 day period, usually having a next-day ship date for easy-to-ship items. That's me, who works full-time, married, etc... what's wrong with some of these people who are supposedly trying to run legitimate, respectable businesses?

his response is going to be:

sorry guys, ive been tied up with this local customer needing large qty and got side tracked. we got good news. we now know what the problem was and have a solution. have a nice New Year. woohoo 2011!

I am extremely sorry for my lack of communication with you guys this past week.

I can assure you we are not here to take your money, you will get exactly what you ordered. I have been very busy this past week on some other project which took me out of town. However, I'm back now and getting you guys happy is my top priority!

Here's the deal. We had a few GB's end around the same time. Which really killed us on our stock. On top of other issues like our purple not matching with a new batch, and us not being on top of our fulfillment list I made the decision to delay the shipment of our 370 kits for one week so we can confirm we were shipping all pieces needed in the kit. We even had a local customer with a 370 stop by and we did a test fit on his car. We corrected the mistakes with the fulfillment list.

So, now I was expecting the 370 kits to be shipped (last week) while I was out of town most of the week. I get back yesterday and find out since we had 3 GB's end last week and the week before, we are super low on everything now (poor planning on my part, no excuses). So we have shipped 1 370Z kit before we realized out fulfillment list was incorrect. We even overnighted him the remaining pieces plus the our Strut Tower Kit for the 370z to test out at no charge.

I understand everyone being upset at the situation I am to! I don't like being unable to deliver our products in a timely manner. I assure you we will make sure everyone is happy.

So here are my thoughts:

I can refund your shipping costs
OR
I can offer you a discount on our 370z Strut Tower Bar Kit (Includes the 4 Bolts and 2 Nuts for the STB).

If you guys want the STB Kit, I will make sure it ships with your Engine Bay Kit.

Again, I apologize for the delay! We will make sure everyone gets exactly what they ordered. We are a small business, and customer service is extremely important to us. As is providing a quality product in a timely manner. We dropped the ball on this one guys, and I apologize for that.

Thanks,

-Chris Bishop

My question is, how did group buys presumably ending on the 17th and 24th take precedence over our group buy that ended on the 10th? Stock should have been going toward our product shipping out, since we paid first.

When are the kits going to ship? Give us a firm date. Are any kits still delayed? When will those ship?

glad ive waited to order anything.

You are correct. They should have been shipped first. I was operating under the presumption we had plenty of stock, which at the time the GB ended we did. We had a lot more orders through other GB's and our website than expected (A great thing, normally) but it crippled our stock. Again, this is our fault. It's one of those things most growing companies experience. Not an excuse, just a part of growing I guess.

I will talk to the company who does our anodizing, and let you know a firm ship date by tomorrow at the latest.

Thanks for you patience.

Chris, just made the final payment for my blue titanium set. Will you be @ the Victory Nissan car show in Richmond this coming Sunday?

OK sure, and I know the situation with my kit since the purple color is difficult to match, but what about ship dates for other 370Z people who have paid?

I mean, come on, I paid the minute you put up payment instructions cause I wanted these for my wife. You should never ask a customer to pay on something like this unless you have their product within 50 ft of you, ready to box up and ship. :shakes head:

I don't understand why you cannot have me and everybody else a firm ship-by/ready date by the EOD.

We don't color our products. We are not setup to do so. So we have them colored by another company. Once we get new stock made they have to be sent out to be colored. This is why I need to contact them to see if we can put a rush on this.

At the time, I posted payment instructions, we had everything in stock ready to ship. Because of some mistakes we made in the fulfillment list for the 370z I wanted to have a final test fit before we shipped them out. Once the problem was corrected is when we started having issues with stock.

If you would like a full refund, I can provide you with that no problem. If you would like to replace your order once these are back in stock I will honor the GB price and ship them immediately. I will let you know a firm ship date no later than tomorrow.

I also completely understand if you would like a full refund. I have no problem issuing this.

I didn't pay to get jerked around for 2.5 weeks to only have to ask for a refund. Get your sh*t together, let every person who has paid know exactly when their purchase is going to ship, then get everything shipped out ASAP, preferably via USPS Priority Mail so everybody gets their order in 2-3 days.

I don't understand why you can't call your anodizer right now and get an updated lead time. I'm not ignorant to this whole process - I've run custom parts on a CNC before, finished them, and I know exactly the wait process one has to go through to get a batch of parts anodized, and exactly how costly it is. But I also know that any reputable business you're interacting with can give you a lead time +/- a day, and definitely cut you a break if they know you're in hot water with customers due to something taking so long.

Are they not open on Mondays? Stop playing forum PR person and make some phone calls like you should have been - away on business or not - last week. :ugh2:
